Product Information

The product is a temperature controller with one-step and two-step functionality. It has a switching output for controlling temperature. The product is available in different models, including TR 040, TR 060, TR 040 U, and TR 060 U. It has a compact size with dimensions of 108 x 70 x 73.5 mm (Thor 2). The housing is made of stainless steel V2A (1.4303) for durability. It has a dust-proof switch block unit that can function as a potential-free, single-pole or two-pole changeover contact. The product is designed to handle a wide temperature range and has a thermal switching difference of approximately 2 K.

Product Usage Instructions

To use the temperature controller, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the temperature controller to the power supply within the voltage range of 24…250 V AC +10%.
  2. Ensure that the contact load does not exceed 16 A with a power factor (cos φ) of 1.0 or 1.5 A with a power factor (cos φ) of 0.6.
  3. If using a voltage of 24 V, make sure the minimum current is at least 150 mA.
  4. Mount the temperature controller in a suitable location using the provided dimensions of 108 x 70 x 73.5 mm (Thor 2).
  5. Use the M20x1.5 cable gland for secure cable routing and strain relief.
  6. Refer to the connecting diagram in the user manual for the appropriate connections based on the desired functionality (heating or cooling).
  7. Ensure that the temperature setpoint is adjusted according to the desired switch-on and switch-off values for heating or cooling.
  8. Monitor the temperature and observe the switching of the output contacts based on the preset values.
