Functions

  • Automatic switch-on of keys and label holder lighting is provided when taking control for 4 seconds (18 channel version only).

Configuration

These transmitters may be configured in 3 different ways :

  • quick links: configuration without tool, directly on the device via R button and LED (see configuration instructions quicklinkL).
  • tebis TX: configuration using connection device from Hager
  •  ETS3/ETS4 via KNX-RF/TP gateway: database and description of software application available from the Manufacturer.

Configuration by ETS
Press R button for addressing by means of radio/KNX Gateway.

  • In order to change the configuration mode, a reset to factory settings is required.

Cloning of transmitters

Cloning allows duplicating a “Master” radio transmitter previously configured to create fully identical copies quickly.

How to clone a transmitter?

  • Enter in configuration mode by pressing the R button of the “Master”: LED cfg turns on.

  • On the product to be cloned still in factory mode, press R button for an extended time >15 s until the 2nd flickering level (faster) of LED cfg is reached. When LED flickering ends (LED turns off), cloning is completed.
    Repeat this step for the other products to be cloned.

  • Exit the cloning mode by pressing again Master R button. When button is pressed, LED cfg turns orange to signal the cloned transmitter.

    • Cloning is possible only between transmitters with the same number of inputs. A cloned product cannot be modified, including the “Master”. A reset to factory settings and a new programming of the devices are required.

Activation/deactivation of indicators and of labelling field (18 channel version only)

For activating/deactivating lighting of indicators 3 and label holder 4, move selector 5 to a new position and press shortly key 2 located under indicator

  1. Selector 5 (18 channel version only) KNX-RF hand-held transmitter 18 channels can transmit 18 different controls distributed over 3 groups of 6 keys. Selector 5 is used to select one of the three groups.

Reset to factory settings
Hold the R button depressed until cfg LED flickers 10 s, then release it. LED cfg turns off to signal the end of factory reset. This operation removes the entire product configuration, whatever the mode of configuration. After power- on or reset to factory settings, wait 15 s before proceeding to configuration.

Replacement of batteries
Dismantle battery compartment lid 6. Remove the 2 batteries and insert the new ones making sure that matching of poles (+/-) is correct (both batteries must be changed).
