IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• WARNING! Improper use may result in injury.

• Read all instructions before using.

• Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds with the voltage in your home. If this is not the case, the appropriate specialists and do not use the frother.

• The power base cannot be used for other than intended use.

• Do not operate the appliance without anything in it to avoid damaging the heat elements.

• Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch a hot surface.

• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or where it could touch any other heated appliance.

• Ensure that the appliance is used on a firm and flat surface out of reach of children, this will prevent the appliance from overturning and prevent damage or injury.

• Keep hands and utensils out of container while frothing to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the frothier.

• To protect against a fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse cord, electric plugs, jar or base in water or other liquids.

• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

• Do not touch the hot surface. Use the handle or the lid.

• Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot liquid.

• Avoid contacting moving parts.

• Do not use any attachments that are not recommended or not sold by manufacturer. It may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

• The device is intended for use only with the original stand.

• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact the authorized service center for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.

• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service center or similarly qualified personnel in order to avoid a hazard.

• The appliance only used for frothing and heating milk. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.

• This appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug. Please ensure the wall outlet in your house is well earthed.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are aged from 8 years and above and supervised.

• Children shall not play with the appliance.

• Always operate the appliance with the correctly installed lid.

• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
  – staff k itched areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
  – farm houses;
  – by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
  – bed and breakfast type environments.

• This appliance is for household and indoor use only.
  Don’t use it outdoors!

• Save these instructions.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

The appliance can be used for finishing the following tasks separately:
I. Warm milk with thick froth;
II. Warm milk with thin froth;
III. Only warming separately, without frothing;
IV. Only frothing separately, without warming.
Before using the milk frothier, clean all the parts according to the section “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” chapter.
IMPORTANT: do not wash any parts in the dishwasher, and do not immerse the jar in water. This may permanently damage the product and void the warranty.
The amount of milk to be heated or frothed shall be complied with the requirement shown in Fig. 1.

OPERATION OF THE MILK FROTHER

WARM MILK WITH THICK FROTH

1. Place the appliance on a flat surface.

2. Open the lid, fill the jar with the desired amount of milk and replace the lid.
   NOTE: the max milk quantity permitted to add is 100 ml (see Fig. 1), to avoid milk overflowing after frothing. The min milk quantity permitted to add is 75 ml. Please use whole frozen milk (5-10 °C).

3. Connect the plug into a power outlet.
   NOTE: after connecting the plug into a power outlet, the four blue indicators light up and they will extinguish after 5 minutes if there is not any operation.

4. Press the FUNCTION button once, the working indicator will blink. Then press the ON/OFF button once, the working indicator will turn to illuminate solidly, the appliance will start to operate. Once the temperature of milk has achieved the setting value, appliance will stop working, and three beeps can be heard as well as the four blue indicators will blink at the same time, and they will extinguish after 5 minutes if there is not any operation.
   NOTE: during operation, you can stop operating by pressing the ON/OFF button once.

5. When the appliance has stopped operating, open the lid, pour out the warmed and frothed milk.
   CAUTION! Minimum 3 minutes rest time must be maintained between two continuous cycles, otherwise, the appliance will enter self-protection state automatically after working for 5 cycles continuously, the working indicator will flash and the switch button will not be activated, after about 5 minutes, the appliance will enter standby state and you can continue operating the appliance.
   NOTE: please clean the jar according to the chapter “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” between two continuous cycles.

6. Always turn off the milk frothier and disconnect the power supply when not use.

WARM MILK WITH THIN FROTH

1. Place the appliance on a flat surface.

2. Open the lid, fill the jar with the desired amount of milk and replace the lid.
   NOTE: the max milk quantity permitted to add is 100 ml (see Fig. 1), to avoid milk overflowing after frothing. The min milk quantity permitted to add is 75 ml. Please use whole frozen milk (5-10 °C).

3. Connect the plug into a power outlet.
   NOTE: after connecting the plug into a power outlet, the four blue indicators light up and they will extinguish after 5 minutes if there is not any operation.

4. Press the FUNCTION button twice, the working indicator will blink. Then press the ON/OFF button once, the working indicator will turn to illuminate solidly, the appliance will start to operate. Once the temperature of milk has achieved the setting value, appliance will stop working and three beeps can be heard as well as the four blue indicators will blink at the same time, and they will extinguish after 5 minutes if there is not any operation.
   NOTE: during operation, you can stop operating by pressing the ON/OFF button once.

ONLY WARMING SEPARATELY, WITHOUT FROTHING

1. Place the appliance on a flat surface.

2. Open the lid, fill the jar with the desired amount of milk and replace the lid.
   NOTE: the max milk quantity permitted to add is 200 ml (see ON/OFF), to avoid milk overflowing after warning. The min milk quantity permitted to add is 75 ml. Please use whole frozen milk (5-10 °C).

3. Connect the plug into a power outlet.
   NOTE: after connecting the plug into a power outlet, the four blue indicators light up and they will extinguish after 5 minutes if there is not any operation.

4. Press the FUNCTION button three times, the working indicator will blink. Then press the ON/OFF button once, the working indicator will turn to illuminate solidly, the appliance will start to operate. Once the temperature of milk has achieved the setting  value, appliance will stop working and three beeps can be heard as well as the four blue indicators will blink at the same time, and they will extinguish after 5 minutes if there is not any operation.

ONLY FROTHING SEPARATELY, WITHOUT WARMING

1. Place the appliance on a flat surface.

2. Open the lid, fill the jar with the desired amount of milk and replace the lid.
   NOTE: the max milk quantity permitted to add is 100 ml (see ON/OFF), to avoid milk overflowing after frothing. The min milk quantity permitted to add is 75 ml. Please use whole frozen milk (5-10 °C).

3. Connect the plug into a power outlet.
   NOTE: after connecting the plug into a power outlet, the four blue indicators light up and they will extinguish after 5 minutes if there is not any operation.

4. Press the FUNCTION button four times, the working indicator  will blink. Then press the ON/OFF button once, the working indicator  will turn to illuminate solidly, the frothing paddle will rotate for frothing milk separately, but the heating element will not heat. And the appliance will automatically stop rotating after 2 minutes, and three beeps can be heard as well as the four blue indicators will blink at the same time, and they will extinguish after 5 minutes if there is not any operation.
   NOTE: During operation, you can stop operating by pressing the ON/OFF button once.

5. When the appliance has stopped operating, open the lid, pour out the frothed milk.
   CAUTION! 6. Always turn off the milk frothier and disconnect the power supply when not use.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and allow it cooling down before cleaning.
CAUTION! Never immerse the jar, power cord in water, or allow moisture to contact with these parts. Do not use the dishwasher.

1. Wash lid with water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
2. Wash the inner of jar with a combination of a mild detergent and water and then wipe clean with a soft damp cloth.
3. Wipe the appearance of jar with a soft damp cloth, never use any chemically aggressive cleaners.
   NOTE: do not use steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outer surfaces of the appliance. This may cause loss of appearance or damage to the appliance.

ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY DISPOSAL

This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources.
To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.
Due to the constant process of making changes and improvements, there may be some differences between the instructions and the product. The manufacturer hopes that the user will pay attention to it.
Warranty conditions
The plant guarantees normal operation of the product within 12 months from the date of the sale, provided that the consumer complies with the rules of operation and care provided by this Manual.
Service life of the product is 5 years.
In order to avoid any misunderstanding we kindly ask you to carefully study the Owner’s Manual, the terms of warranty, and check the correctness of filling the Warranty Card. The Warranty Card is valid only if the following information is correctly and clearly stated: model, serial number of the product, date of sale, clear seals of the company seller, signature of the buyer. The model and serial number of the product must correspond to those specified in the Warranty Card.
If these terms are violated, and if the information specified in the Warranty Card is changed, erased or rewritten, the Warranty Card is considered invalid.
Setup and installation (assembly, connection, etc.) of the appliance are described in the attached documentation; they can be carried out both by the user, and by specialists having the necessary qualification sent by USC or selling companies (on a paid basis). In this case, the person (the institution) installing the appliance shall be responsible for the correctness and quality of installation (setup). Please pay attention to the importance of the correct installation of the appliance, both for its reliable operation, and for obtaining warranty and free service. Require the installation specialist to enter all the necessary information about the installation in the Warranty Card.
In case of failure of the appliance during the warranty period by the fault of the manufacturer, the owner is entitled to free warranty repair upon presentation of the correctly filled Warranty Card together with the appliance in the factory configuration packed in the original packaging to the warranty workshop or the place of its purchase. Satisfaction of the customer’s claim due to the fault of the manufacturer shall be made in accordance with the law «On Protection of Consumers’ Rights». In the case of warranty repair the warranty period shall be extended for the period of repair and shipment.

WARRANTY CARD

Dear Buyer! Congratulations on your purchase of the ARDESTO brand appliance, which was designed and manufactured in accordance with the highest quality standards, and we thank you for choosing this particular instrument.
We ask you to keep the coupon during the warranty period. When purchasing a product, require a full warranty card.

1. Warranty service is carried out only if there is a correctly and clearly filled original warranty card, which indicates: product model, date of sale, serial number, warranty service period, and the seller’s seal. *

2. The service life of household appliances is 5 years.

3. The product is intended for consumer use. When using the product in commercial activities, the seller / manufacturer does not bear warranty obligations, after-sales service is performed on a paid basis.

4. Warranty repair is carried out within the period specified in the warranty card for the product in an authorized service center on the conditions and terms determined by applicable law.

5. The product is withdrawn from the warranty in case of violation by the consumer of the operating rules set forth in the instruction manual.

6. The product is removed from warranty service in the following cases:
   • misuse and non-consumer use;
   • mechanical damage;
   • damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects, substances, liquids, insects;
   • damage caused by natural disasters (rain, wind, lightning, etc.), fire, domestic factors (excessive humidity, dust, aggressive environment, etc.)
   • damage caused by non-compliance of power and cable network parameters with state standards and other similar factors;
   • when operating equipment in the power supply network with a missing single ground loop;
   • in case of violation of seals installed on the product;
   • lack of serial number of the device, or inability to identify it.

7. The warranty does not cover consumables and accessories, as well as filters, shelves, drawers, stands and other containers for storing products.

8. The warranty period is 12 months from the date of sale.

• Tear-off maintenance tickets are provided by an authorized service center.
