VISUAL COMFORT MF 2200 Wimberley Single Library Wall Light
Product Information
The Wimberley Single Library Wall Light (Item # MF 2200) is a light fixture that provides illumination for library spaces. It is designed to be installed on a wall and requires proper assembly and installation.
Important Notice : This light fixture should be installed in accordance with all applicable, local installation codes, and by a person familiar with its construction and operation, as well as the hazards involved. Before installation, carefully inspect the item and its contents for any damage or defects. If any issues are found, do not proceed with the installation. Retain all packaging material until installation is complete and approved.
Assembly Instructions
- Carefully remove all parts from the box and place them on a clean, soft surface.
- Remove the mounting plate (A) from the fixture (D) by unscrewing screws (E).
- Install the mounting plate (A) to the junction box and securely fasten it using mounting screws (B).
- Wrap the fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green grounding screw (G) and tighten it.
- Connect the fixture wires to the corresponding wires in the junction box using wire connectors or as per local electrical codes.
- Securely attach the fixture (D) to the mounting plate (A) using screws (E).
- If provided, follow Diagram 1 for additional assembly instructions.
- Adjust the position of the fixture using the loosen knobs (J), then tighten them to secure the desired position.
- Install a compatible light bulb into the socket.
Care Instructions
To maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Wimberley Single Library Wall Light, follow these care instructions:
- Use only a soft dry cloth or feather duster to clean the fixture.
- Avoid using abrasive or chemical agents, as they may damage the surface.
Note: Bulb not included. Ensure you use a suitable light bulb that meets the specifications recommended by the manufacturer.

NOTICE:

TOOLS REQUIRED (NOT INCLUDED):
- Phillips Screwdriver
- Slotted Screwdriver
- Scissors
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
- Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface.
- Remove mounting plate (A) from fixture (D) by removing screws (E).
- Install mounting plate (A) to the junction box and secure it with mounting screws (B).
- Wrap fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green grounding screw (see diagram 1). Tighten. Continue fixture ground wire and connect to supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) using wire nut (C).
- NOTE : It is imperative that the fixture is grounded.
- Connect the fixture neutral wire (white) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (C).
- Connect the fixture hot wire (black) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (C).
- CAUTION : Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.
- Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck into the junction box.
- Install fixture (D) to mounting plate (A) and secure with screws (E).
- Remove socket ring (H) from socket (F).
- Remove shade (G) from the packaging and install to socket (F) by securing it with socket ring (H).
- NOTE : If the shade has additional packaging, carefully cut off from the interior of the shade to avoid damage.
- Loosen knobs (J) to adjust the fixture to the desired position, then tighten knobs (J).
- Install light bulb into the socket.
