SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND PRECAUTIONS
WARNING

  • Do not use this product without reading the instructions for use first
  • Stop using the product as soon as the child can sit or kneel or pull itself up
  • Placing additional items in the product may cause suffocation
  • Do not place the product close to another product, which could present a danger of suffocation or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords, etc
  • Do not use more than one mattress in the product
  • The product should be placed on a horizontal floor
  • The attached mattress is designed for use only with the LOVI cot (bottom dimensions 780 x 400 mm). Perfect fit of the mattress with the dimensions that leave little space between the mattress and the sides of the cot ensures safety of the child.
  • Young children should not be allowed to play unsupervised in the vicinity of the crib
  • The crib should be locked in the fixed position when the child is left unattended
  • All assembly fittings should always be tightened properly and that care should be taken that no screws are loose, because a child could trap parts of the body or clothing (e.g. strings, neclaces, ribbons babies’ dummies, ts.), which would pose a risk of strangulation.
  • Maximum thickness of the mattress: 7 cm.
  • Be aware of the risk of burning cigarettes, open fires and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of the crib;
  • DO NOT use crib if any parts are missing, damaged, or broken. Contact with manufacturer for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed. DO NOT substitute parts
  • Crib is ready for use, only when the locking mechanisms are engaged. Check carefully that they are fully engaged before using the folding travel cot.
  •  Thickness of the mattress shall be such that the distance between the upper side of the mattress and the lowest point of the upper edge of the crib sides and ends shall be a minimum of 200 mm.
  • All assembly elements and fittings should be tightened properly and checked regularly and retightened as necessary.

Baby cot elements (FIG. 1):

Baby cot assembly:

Undo the zip fastener on the bag (G) and remove the cot and other included items. Connect the runners (D) with the metal tubes (E) until the metal pins click (FIG. 2). To disassemble the frame (A), lift the ends of the frame until the mechanism locks (FIG. 3). Place the carrycot on a clean surface with the metal tubes facing upwards (FIG. 4). Then push the runners onto the metal carrycot tubes until they lock (FIG. 5A). Note: The arrow at the bottom of the runners should be visible outside the cot (FIG. 5B). Attach the material on both sides of the carrycot by properly pressing the latches (FIG. 6). Place the mattress (B) so that the usable area was directed upwards (marking is located on a label attached to the mattress cover). Note: The baby cot has a rocking function − hold the release button located on the outside of the rocker and change its location as shown in Figure 7. To return to the standard cot position, press the button again and place the runner in the starting position.

Installation of accessories:

Canopy − attach the canopy (C) by placing the plastic element in the rail located on the carrycot frame (FIG. 8A). Make sure that you hear a click during installation (FIG. 8B). Attach the canopy material to the Velcro located on the carrycot cover (FIG. 9).
Toys − the upper part of the canopy features loops for attaching the included toys (F) (FIG. 10). Mosquito net − undo the zip fastener located on the canopy, remove the mosquito net and place it on the carrycot frame (FIG. 11A and 11B).

Folding the baby cot:

To fold the product, place the runners in the starting position (standing). Remove the canopy by pressing the button and pulling the plastic piece out of the rail. Press both buttons in the centre of the frame, while slightly raising the cot (FIG. 12). Tilt the carrycot towards yourself and the legs will fold automatically. Slightly press the mattress against the folding legs (FIG. 13). Attach the Velcros located underneath the carrycot by pressing both parts of the baby cot as shown in Figure 14.

Maintenance and cleaning

Fabric on the baby cot and canopy − clean with mild soap and water. Never clean using abrasive cleaners on the basis of ammonia, bleaching agents and spirits. The baby cot must be dried thoroughly before using or storing.
Bottom of the cot − clean with mild soap and water. Never clean using abrasive cleaners on the basis of ammonia, bleaching agents and spirits. Do not wet the base plate and before re-use make sure that all parts of the baby cot are dried thoroughly.
Sheet − wash at max. 30°C, standard process, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, iron or dry clean.
Toys − wash at max. 40°C, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, iron or dry clean.
Frame − clean the metal frame with a soft, clean and damp cloth using mild soap.
