Introduction
The new JENSEN JXHD35 Heavy Duty Speakers are proudly offered by JENSEN Heavy Duty to the ag, construction, utility, off-highway, recreational, and power sports sectors. In addition to providing full range audio entertainment when connected with the JHD910 JENSEN Heavy Duty MINI Waterproof AM/FM/WB Radio, these heavy duty box speakers are specially made to resist the rigors of off- road and outdoor conditions.
JXHD35 Installation Instructions
Thank you for choosing a Jensen product. Your new JXHD35 Heavy Duty Outdoor Speakers can be Surface or metal bracket mounted, suiting most any installation needs. UV-resistant materials and finish will prevent cracking, fading, and discoloration. After installation, your JXHD35 speakers will look good while providing full range audio reproduction through a 3.5″ woofer with the independent tweeter.
Bracket Mount
- Remove thumb screws and bracket (FIG. 1).
- Secure bracket to the mounting surface using screws provided (FIG. 2).
- To connect the speaker wire, remove the 4 screws as shown in (FIG. 5). Connect the White striped wire to the positive terminal and the Black wire to the negative terminal.
- Re-attach speaker to bracket using washers and thumb screws (FIG. 3).
Surface Mount
- Remove thumb screws and bracket (FIG. 1).
- Remove four screws from the front to release the cover/speaker (FIG. 5).
- Secure housing to the mounting surface using three of the four screws provided (FIG. 4).
- Re-attach cover/speaker to housing (FIG. 5).
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these speakers shielded to protect from the interference of LED lights?
Used them in my camper where I had upgraded lights and no problem for me.
The male/female connectors are stuck together when I try to pull them apart. How do you undo them?
They do not have any type of special clip holding them together, use pliers on each end of the connectors and pull.
What is the speaker’s power source? Batteries? Thanks in advance for your time.
There is a set of positive and negative speaker terminals on the back of the unit for connecting to a stereo’s wiring harness. This unit requires being wired to it’s audio source.
The product description says 3.5″ mini speaker but the technical details say 12×4.5×12. Which one is it?
3.5 x 3.5 is the correct size.
