Product Information
The Dalap NOMIA household axial fan is designed for use in small and medium- sized residential and non-residential units. It can be used for continuous ventilation.
USES
The Dalap NOMIA household axial fan is intended for use in small and medium sized residential and non-residential units. The fans may be used for continuous ventilation.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Please read this manual carefully and pay attention to all the requirements before use. It is prohibited to install the fan into ducting systems that are used to conduct flue gases away. The installation, connection and maintenance of the fan may only be done when the fan is disconnected from the mains. The timer and humidistat may only be set after the fan has been disconnected from the mains. Both connection to and disconnection from the supply network should only be done by a specialist electrician. This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are not supervised or the person responsible for their safety has not provided them with the instructions for use. The fan is designed for connection to single-phase alternating current 220–240 V with a frequency of 50 Hz. The degree of protection is IP24. Operating temperature from +1 to +40 °C.
Product Usage Instructions
NOMIA (models without timer and humidistat)
Connection:
- Switch off the electric circuit that you are going to work on.
- Unscrew the screw on the front panel’s side and remove the cover under which the terminal block with two terminals is located.
- Run the supply cables (permanent phase and neutral) through the rubber bushing and connect them in the terminal block. The positions of the cable connections do not matter in this case.
- After completing the installation, connect the electric circuit and test the function of the fan.
NOMIA Z (models with timer and light sensor)

MODE 1 – light sensor (on), time rundown
- Wire connection: Connect the brown phase wire to the L terminal and the blue neutral wire to the N terminal. Place the I/II/III jumper as seen in PIC 4a. Set the A/B jumper to the position of PIC 1a. The fan starts when the light is on (it must be on for at least 45 seconds) and it will be ventilating throughout the entire lighting period. After turning the light off, the fan runs down according to the timer setting.
Note: If the light is turned off earlier (i.e., it has not been on for at least 45 seconds), the fan will not start.
- Wire connection: Connect the brown phase wire to the L terminal and the blue neutral wire to the N terminal. Place the I/II/III jumper as seen in PIC 4a. - Wire connection: Connect the brown phase wire to the L terminal, the black switching wire to the T terminal and the blue neutral wire to the N terminal. Place the I/II jumper as seen in PIC 6b. Set the A/B jumper to the position of PIC 1b.
The fan starts after the light has been turned off (it must have been on for at least 90 seconds) and it will be ventilating throughout the entire time set on the timer (“Time”). The humidity sensor will start the fan based on the set value (“Humidity”) – it must be dark. After the humidity decreases, the fan continues ventilating for the remaining time set on the timer. The fan can be started manually using the switch and it is ventilating throughout the time set on the timer – it works even with the light on.
Note: If the light is turned off earlier (i.e., it has not been on for at least 90 seconds), the fan will not start after turning the light off.
- Wire connection: Connect the brown phase wire to the L terminal, the black switching wire to the T terminal and the blue neutral wire to the N terminal. Place the I/II jumper as seen in PIC 6b. Set the A/B jumper to the position of PIC 1b.
MAINTENANCE
Only perform maintenance on the fan when disconnected from the mains! Conduct maintenance at least once a year. After removing the fan, clean it with a soft rag dampened with a mild solution of water and detergent. Be careful not to wet down electrical parts of the fan, especially the motor. Wipe the fan dry and return to its installed position.
