- Be sure to check all packíng materials carefully for all parts that may have come loose inside the carton during shipment. If parts are missing. contact the retailer from which you purchased the product to obtain any missing parts. DO NOT LSE SUSTUIE PARTS.
- Periodically check to ensure that all connectors (bolts, screws, etc. are tight.
- Keep the instructions for future reference.
- Some assembly may involve attaching glass or mirrors. Be very careful handling the glass or mirrors, as severe injury may result if the glass or mirror breaks. Never handle large pieces o air or mirrors by yourself.
- When assembling products that have electric cords (lamps, lights, etc.), always (1) make sure the electrical cord is unplugged before assembly and (2 be careful not to twist the electrical cord during assembly.
- When assembling shelves or entertainment centers, do not stand on lower shelves in order to assemble upper shelves-use a step ladder.
- Do not stand on tables, including but not 1imited to, end tables, coffee tables, and dinner tables, as tables are not to support the weight of a person.
- Their assembly instructions state that the assenb1y requires two or more people, do not attend by yourself s there 1s a risk of injury.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
In order to avoid property damage, serious bodily injury, or death, it is
important that you read, understand, and follow ALL safety instructions.

- WARNING: Always check under and around the chair before operating to make sure no children, household pets or objects are under the chair. Never allow children to operate or play on, under, or around the chair. Failure to clear the area under and around the chair before operating may result in serious bodily injury, death or property damage. Always store the controller out of reach of children and unplug the chair to prevent children from using the controller.
- WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, always unplug the chair from the electrical outlet before moving, cleaning, or servicing.
- WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, serious bodily injury, death, or property damage, only use the chair indoors in locations free of water. The chair should never be used outdoors.
- WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, serious bodily injury, death, or property damage, never plug in, use or operate the chair if the cord has been damaged or if the chair becomes wet or has been damaged. Do not use an extension cord with the chair.
- WARNING: Do not use the chair to store or support any items including, without limitation, televisions or video equipment as such items can fall off the chair and cause serious bodily injury or death.
- WARNING: Use the chair only for its intended use and in accordance with these Safety Instructions and all other product instructions. Failure to do so may result in serious injury, death or property damage.
- WARNING: The maximum weight limit of the chair is 300 pounds. Only allow one person to sit on or use the chair and always sit on the bottom seat cushion only. Never sit on the back of the chair, chair arms, or leg rest (if equipped). Using or operating a chair with more than the maximum weight limit or siting on a part of the chair other than the bottom seat cushion could damage the chair and/or cause the chair to top over or collapse resulting in serious bodily injury or death.
- WARNING: Do not operate chairs near or around flammable gases (Including oxygen tanks and masks), liquids or vapors. Failure to follow this instruction may cause a fire or explosion resulting in personal injury, death, or property damage.
- NOTE: THE UNIT SHOULD BE ASSEMBLED BY TWO OR MORE PEOPLE. DO NOT TIGHTEN ANY BOLTS UNTIL ALL BOLTS HAVE BEEN STARTED!
COVER MATERIAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS
The material covering this piece of furniture is very durable for everyday living. It is recommended by the manufacturer to only clean this material with water-based cleaning agents or soap. Lightly scrubbing will help with any tougher spots that may have developed. Always check a small spot of material in an area that is unseen to be sure the cleaning agent being used will not discolor or fade the material’s finishing. Let the chair air dry and vacuum for the best result.
CHAIR ASSEMBLY CORD AND POWER TRANSFORMER CONNECTIONS
WARNING:
It is important that you read and carefully follow all chair assembly
instructions. Do not plug the power cord into an electrical outlet until all
assembly has been properly completed. Failure to follow all chair assembly
instructions may cause the chair to operate improperly.
CHAIR ASSEMBLY
Once the chair is removed from the box, you’ll notice the back is lying on the
top of the seat. There are a couple of items to remove from the seat portion
of the chair first. Follow the below instructions:

Some models have back wings that are attached, when unpacking your chair you will find these back wings packed in the back of the chair base, Figure A #1 Please unpack the back wings and set them aside for installation later.

Locate the hardware pack that contains the power transformer, power cord, and control wand. This can be done by turning the base over on its arms, you will see the plastic bag tied to the inside of the unit, Carefully cut the ties that hold the bag and removes it. Dispose of the ties and bag properly. Figure A #2

To install the back, align the female brackets in the back with the male brackets in the chair base, and slide the back down on the base. See Figure B Push down on the top of the back to lock the back into position. You will hear a click from each side of the chair to ensure the back is locked in properly.

If your model has back wings, align the male the female brackets and slide the wing down into place, See Figure C. Please Note there is a label on the brackets. Please assemble them as 1-1 and 2-2.

Connect the Power Transformer cable to the corresponding plug coming from the back of the chair Figure A #3

Connect the Power Cord to the Power Transformer Figure A #4

Connect the power cord to an electrical outlet near where the chair will be used Figure A #5
WARNING:
Clear the area below the chair before operating to reduce the risk of injury
or death. If the chair is not functioning, check the plug-in and connection of
the cords first (The order is A-B-C), see Figure A. Be sure cords are clear
from the chair prior to operation.

SOLUTIONS
Ensure both wires from the chair and the power cord is firmly connected to the
transformer.
OPTIONAL LITHIUM BATTERY PACK:
Adding the lithium battery pack to the power transformer, it enhances your
existing power transformer with a battery backup feature.

CUP HOLDER WITH CONTROL SYSTEM FOR HOME THEATER CHAIR MODELS
WARNING:
Always check under and around the chair before closing from a recline position
to make sure no children, household pets, or objects are under the chair.
Never allow children to operate or play on, under, or around the chair.
Failure to clear the area under and around the chair before closing may result
in serious bodily injury, death, or property damage.

STORAGE FEATURE/LED LIGHTING
- Your Ashley theater chair has two storage and two cup holders. Figure F
- Your Ashle y theater chair has LED lighting in both cup holders and under the arms, the switch of these LED lights is on the cup holder control panel. Figure G
