Instruction manual for outdoor wall lamp
– The electric connection may be executed only by an qualified electrician,
who is familiar with the valid directives. Before starting with the
installation, switch off the power of the main electricity supply. (It is not
sufficient just to turn of the power at the switch). Use a voltage detector to
ensure that the supply is off. (1)
– This product is only suited for wall installation. Make sure that the
product is mounted on a stable, even and tilt-fixed background. Also make sure
that the lamp doesn’t make contact with running water. (2)
– For the lamp to work correctly, ensure that the earthing complies with the
applicable regulations in force in your country. Make sure that the lightbulb
you are using is of the type and power rating (W), which is indicated on the
package of the lamp. (4)
Separate installation steps
– The lamp is suitable for outdoor, for wall mounting only.
– Prevent humidity on all components.
– The order in which the conductors are connected to the terminal block, is
purely random. It is necessary only to check that: the one white wire is
connected to the main line cable. The other white wire is connected to the
neutral cable (min). The earth conductor (yellow/green) is connected to the
earth cable. (3)
– Make sure there is a watertight seal.
– Apply after connecting the wiring, the lamp on the wall. Make sure that the
lamp holder is placed correctly and is screwed in the lamp.
– For placing a light bulb inside the lamp, you must use only a light bulb of
max. 35W. We recommend the use of a LED light bulb in this lamp.
Maintenance and cleaning
Before you start cleaning the lamp, disconnect it from the main power supply
first (see installation) and let the unit cool down for at least 15 minutes.
The lamp can be cleaned with a clean dry, or damp cloth. Because of the
influence of acid rain, thawing salt, high salt content in the air on the
protective coating on the lamp, we recommend to clean the lamp regurarly.
