IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES, BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED TO PREVENT THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, BURNS, OR OTHER INJURIES OR DAMAGES.

  1. Read all instructions before using this appliance.
  2. Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet before relocating, servicing, or cleaning it.
  3. Keep hands and utensils out of the appliance when using. Do not touch hot surfaces.CAUTION: Surface becomes hot during use.
  4. Do NOT plug/unplug the appliance into/from the electrical outlet with your hands wet.
  5. Do NOT operate the appliance if the power cord is cut. damaged. or if the wires are exposed.
  6. Keep the power cord and appliance AWAY from heated surfaces. including stovetops, burners or heated ovens.
  7. Do NOT immerse in or expose the base, power cord, or plug to water or any other liquids. NEVER use this appliance near water or wet surfaces.
  8. To disconnect the appliance from an electrical outlet, pull directly on the plug: DO NOT pull on the power cord.
  9. Do NOT put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the appliance, as the power cord could fray and break.
  10. Do NOT operate the appliance if it malfunctions, or if it is dropped or damaged.
  11. This appliance has NO user-serviceable parts. Do NOT attempt to examine or repair this appliance yourself. ONLY qualified and approved service personnel should perform servicing.
  12. This appliance is intended for HOUSEHOLD and INTERIOR USE ONLY and cannot be used for any other purpose. This item is NOT a toy.
  13. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children and pets. This appliance is NOT intended to be used by children and strict supervision is necessary when used near children.
  14. Do NOT leave the appliance unattended while it is in use.
  15. Do NOT use any attachments or accessories that are not recommended or sold and approved by the manufacturer for this appliance.
  16. Always operate the appliance on a dry, flat, stable, heat-resistant surface to avoid accidents.
  17. Do NOT move the appliance while it is in use. Always let it cool before moving.
  18. Do NOT let cord hang over the edge of a table or counter. 19. Use an oven mitt when operating the appliance for safety.

WARNING: During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice a little smoke and/or a slight odor. This is normal and should quickly disappear. It will not recur after appliance has been used a few times.

  • EXTENSION CORDS

A short power-supply cord is to be provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer detachable power- supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:

  1. The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
  2. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged. or pulled on unintentionally by children or the user.
  • POLARIZED PLUG

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If plug does not fit fully into the outlet. reverse the plug. If it still does not fit contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

HOW TO OPERATE

BEFORE FIRST USE:

  1. Unpack the appliance and all parts. Remove all packaging materials. including any stickers or labels.
  2. Read these instructions carefully.
  3. Clean the interior surface of the appliance with a damp cloth. Wipe dry with a soft cloth immediately. Do not use abrasive materials. Wipe down the exterior with a soft dry cloth.
  4. NEVER IMMERSE APPLIANCE OR CORD IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
  5. Position the appliance on a stable. dry. level, heat-resistant surface near an electrical outlet.
  6. Unroll the electrical cord.
  7. Operate this appliance on a separate outlet and circuit from other appliances to avoid overloading the circuit

CAUTION: The surfaces of the appliance get hot. To avoid accidental burns, scalping, or steam being released while cooking, always open and close the lid by using an oven mitt.

FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY

USING THE APPLIANCE:

  1. This appliance is intended ONLY for household use.

  2. Prepare the recipe mixture/food by following the recipe instructions.

  3. Lift the lid to the open position.

  4. Coat the non-stick surface with a small amount of vegetable oil. This can be done with a paper towel or with a non-stick cooking oil spray. Wipe off any excess oil. It is recommended to periodically do this before use to maintain the quality of the non-stick coating.

  5. Check and confirm the voltage of the appliance is the same as the outlets. Then, plug in the electrical cord carefully into a separate outlet from other appliances to prevent the circuit from being overloaded.

  6. Close the appliance after plugging in, and allow it to pre-heat.

  7. The red and green indicator lights will turn on as soon as you connect the appliance. The green indicator light will turn off when the appliance reaches the maximum operating temperature. The appliance is ready to cook as soon as the green light turns off. Note: the green indicator light will turn on and off: it does not reflect cooking completion only temperature cycles from minimum to maximum.

  8. Open the lid after pre-heating carefully with an oven mitt.
    Note: When green light turns off it is ready to cook first batch (around 5 minutes)

  9. Pour in the recipe mixture/food into the bottom cooking plate; make sure not to overfill as the batter will expand as it cooks.

  10. Close the lid and let cook for approximately 5-10 minutes, or until fully cooked.

  11. After the food is ready, carefully remove it by using an oven mitt and a heat resistant wood or plastic spatula. Do NOT use metal utensils because they will scratch and damage the non-stick coated surface.

  12. If cooking more than one batch in a session, after removing the first batch. close the appliance to maintain the heat.
    NOTE: Do NOT leave appliance running without recipe mixture/food for more than 2 minutes. Do NOT use continuously for more than 30 minutes.

  13. As soon as you are finished cooking. unplug the appliance and allow it cool down.

CLEANING

Proper maintenance will ensure years of use of your appliance. This appliance contains no user serviceable parts and requires little maintenance. Clean the appliance after every use following these steps.

WARNING: The surfaces of the item will get very hot during use, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down before cleaning.

  • Clean the interior and exterior surfaces of the appliance with a damp cloth or sponge. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
  • To remove food residue baked onto the cooking surface, pour a small amount of cooking oil onto the hardened residue. After 5 minutes. carefully wipe with a paper towel or dry cloth.
  • NEVER USE ABRASIVE CLEANSERS OR SCOURING PADS TO CLEAN THE APPLIANCE , AS THOSE MAY DAMAGE THE SURFACES.

CAUTION: DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE, THE POWER CORD OR THE PLUG INTO WATER OR ANY LIQUIDS.

STORAGE

  1. After following the steps for cleaning and maintenance, collect the power cord.
  2. Store the appliance in a dry and clean place.

Before using the appliance. verify that the domestic supply voltage matches the specifications indicated on the appliance.

STEPS

1. Prepare the recipe mixture/food.
2. Plug in the appliance. and pre-heat as previously instructed.
3. Use non-stick spray. Pour the recipe mixture/food into the bottom plate.
4. Close the lid and allow to cook for 5-10 minutes. or until fully cooked.
5. Remove the food with a wooden, heat resistant plastic, or silicone spatula.
6. Repeat steps 1-6. for subsequent batches.

RECIPE NOTIFICATION

The recipe servings are subject to the quality of the ingredients, the cooking conditions, and the quantity used among other variables. Please note that the serving size varies per recipe.
TIPS

  • Toast a Bagel: Place the inside of the bagel down onto the plate and allow to toast. You can also warm up a sadnwich.
  • Warm up a tsp of oil on the bottom plate & then crack an egg into the maker. Close the lid if you would like the egg over easy.
  • Customize your pocket pies by changing the fruit filling to your favorite pie filling recipe.

Vanilla ancakes
Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 11/2 cups of flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tbsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp of vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Stir together dry ingredients. add in butter, milk, egg, and vanilla.
  • Mix well together.
  • Pour into your maker.
  • Bake for 5-7 minutes or until fully cooked and golden brown.
  • Serve with Maple syrup and fresh berries.
  • Repeat with remaining batter.

Turky and theese English Muffin

Ingredients:

  • Sliced Turkey Breast (2 -3 slices)
  • Sliced Swiss Cheese (1-2 slices)
  • 1 English Muffin
  • 1/2 tsp of butter

Steps:

  • Butter the outside of the English Muffin.
  • Place the slices of cheese adn turkey breast Inside the English Muffin.
  • Cook for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve with hash browns for breakfast or a salad for lunch.

Theesy Rice Cakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of cooked white rice
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1 tbsp of butter/oil
  • 2 tbsp of parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg

Steps:

  • Combine your ingredients in a bowl. Stir well together.
  • Oil the appliance with butter/oil.
  • Scoop out the mixture and pour in the appliance.
  • Bake for 7-10 minutes or until fully cooked one at a time.
  • Serve as a side dish or snack.f

Mini Cookie Cakes

Ingredients:

  • 2 sticks of soft unsalted butter
  • 11/2 cups light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 11/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 11/2 cups chocolate chips of your preference

Steps:

  • Combine the butter and sugar well. Then add the eggs slowly.
  • Combine all of the dry ingredients in another bowl.
  • Add the butter mixture to the dry Ingredients. Fold In the chocolate chips at the end.
  • Grease the maker.
  • Spread the dough well In your maker with a spatula.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until fully cooked.
  • Serve with chocolate syrup and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Arepa with Avocado Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups white corn flour
  • 11/2 cups warm water
  • 11/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teasp000n of black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 avocado diced in small cubes
  • 1 tomato diced in small cubes
  • Parsley
  • 2 tablespoons of mayo

Steps:

  • Place corn flour, water, salt and oil in a large bowl and knead well with hands
  • Form the dough into balls
  • Bake for 7-10 minutes or until fully cooked
  • Place all salad ingredients in a small bowl and mix in with the mayo and pepper
  • Let the arepas cool for a few minutes, then carefully by using an oven mitt slice it open and fill with avocado salad

Personal Omelette

Ingredients:

  • 2:smalt beaten eggs
  • 142 chopped green pepper
  • 1chopped tomato
  • tsp of cheddar cheese
  • Salt & Pepper

Steps:

  • Ina bowl whisk together the eggs, salt & pepper.
  • Add the veggies & cheese to your egg mix.
  • Pour into your maker.
  • Bake for 7-10 minutes or until fully cooked.

HOLSTEIN HOUSEWARES hereby warrants, subject to the terms and conditions herein stated, that should this product become defective by reason of mechanical or workmanship manufacturing defects during the specified warranty period, HOL- STEIN HOUSEWARES will, at its option, either repair or replace this product found to be defective. HOLSTEIN HOUSEWARES warrants that from the date of purchase, this product will be free from mechanical manufacturing defects for a period of 180 days.
Transportation charges on parts, or products in whole, submitted for repair or re- placement, under this warranty, must be borne by the purchaser.
CONDITIONS
THERE IS NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES, IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE TIME PERIOD SPECIFIED HEREIN, OR TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT WARRANTY

The warranty service would NOT apply if the product damage occurred because of misuse, lack of routine maintenance, shipping, handling, warehousing, or improper installation. Similarly, the warranty is void if the manufacturing date or the serial number on the product has been removed or the equipment has been altered or modified. During the Retailer Return Policy, the Retailer may exchange or refund any product, in accordance with their established Return Policy.

NORMAL WEAR
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product; improper voltage or current; use contrary to the operating instructions and manual; deviation from instructions regarding storage and transportation; repair or alteration by anyone other than HOLSTEIN HOUSEWARES or an authorized service center. Further, the warranty does not cover Acts of God, such as fire, Niood, hurricanes, and tornadoes.
HOLSTEIN HOUSEWARES shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the above warranty. Some states, provinces or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limi- tation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state or province to province.
