Product Usage Instructions

Intake Door Cable Adjustment

  1. Remove the lower finish panel.
  2. Remove the cable housing (1) from clamp (2).
  3. Set the intake door lever to the REC position.
  4. Push the intake door link (3) in the specified direction.
  5. Pull cable housing to the controller side and install clamp(2).
  6. Operate the intake door lever to ensure smooth movement.

Mode Door Cable Adjustment

  1. Remove instrument lower cover (RH) and glove box assembly.
  2. Remove cable housing of mode door cable (2) from clamp(1).
  3. Set the mode control dial to the VENT position.
  4. Push the main link (3) in the specified direction.
  5. Pull cable housing to the controller side and install clamp(1).
  6. Operate the mode control dial to ensure smooth movement.
  7. Turn the mode control dials to each position and confirm air discharge according to the distribution table.

Air Mix Door Cable Adjustment

  1. Remove the intermediate steering shaft.
  2. Remove air mix door cable housing (2) from clamp (1).
  3. Set the temperature control dial to a full cold position.
  4. Push the air mix door lever (3) in the specified direction.
  5. Pull the cable housing toward the controller side and install clamp(1).
  6. Operate temperature control dial to ensure smooth movement.

Intake Door Cable Adjustment

  • STEP 1 : Remove the lower finish panel.
  • STEP 2: Remove the cable housing (1) from clamp (2).
  • STEP 3: Set the intake door lever to the REC position.
  • STEP 4: Push the intake door link (3) in the direction shown. Then, carefully pull the cable housing to the controller side and install clamp (2).
  • STEP 5: To ensure that the cable moves smoothly, operate the intake door lever.
    CAUTION: Do not move the cable when clamping the cable housing.

Mode

Mode (Function) Door Cable Adjustment

  • STEP 1: Remove the instrument lower cover (RH) and glove box assembly.

  • STEP 2: From clamp (1), remove the cable housing of mode door cable (2).

  • STEP 3: Set the mode control dial to the VENT position.

  • STEP 4: Push the main link (3) in the direction shown. Then, carefully pull the cable housing to the controller side, and install the clamp (1).

  • STEP 5: To ensure that the cable moves smoothly, operate the mode control dial.
    CAUTION: Do not move the cable when clamping the cable housing.

  • STEP 6: Turn mode control dial to each position.

Air Mix Door Cable Adjustment

  • STEP 1: Remove the intermediate steering shaft.
  • STEP 2 : Remove air mix door cable housing (2) from clamp (1).
  • STEP 3 : Set the temperature control dial to the full cold position.
  • STEP 4: Push the air mix door lever (3) in the direction shown. Then, carefully pull the cable housing toward the controller side and install the clamp (1).

  • STEP 5: To ensure that the cable moves smoothly, operate the temperature control dial.
    • CAUTION: Do not move the cable when clamping the cable housing.
