PARTS
FUNCTIONS
installation
Before installation, please check the location where you want to install the
camera. The installation height will influence the motion sensor’s performance
and the viewing
angle of the camera.
Bracket A Installation
Step 1: Remove the tape films and attach it to the wall.
Step 2: Press the base of bracket A firmly on the tape.
Step 3: Attach the magnetic mounting area of the camera to the bracket and adjust the viewing angle as needed.
Bracket B Installation
Step 1: Drill a hole in the mounting place that does not influence the
plumbing, electrical cables or other building services.
Step 2: Secure the plastic wall anchor into the hole with a hammer.
Step 3: Tighten the screws to fix the bracket on the wall.
Step 4: Screw the camera into bracket B.
Step 5: Loosen the fastener to adjust the viewing angle as needed.
Charging
- Plug the small end of the charging cable into the Micro USB port of the camera.
- Plug the other end into a USB wall charger or computer (DC 5V) that is powered on.
Notes:
- Please fully charge the camera before first use.
- It takes approximately 8 hours to fully charge the camera.
Installing and Taking Out the Micro SD Card
Installing the Micro SD card: Insert the Micro SD card properly into the slot
as below.
Taking out the Micro SD card: Push in the card gently, and it will pop
outward. Then use the tweezer to take the card out.
Notes:
- Please format the Micro SD card before using it according to the steps in the following part “Micro SD Card Formatting”
- This device can support up to 128G Micro SD card.
- Make sure the format of your Micro SD card is FAT32.
APP Installation
You can download the CloudEdge app from Apple Store/Google Play or scan the QR codes below to download.
Smartphone System Requirements:
- iOS 8.0 & higher
- Android 5.0 & higher
Account Registration and Login
Please register an account with a valid email address/phone number/Facebook account and log in.
Adding Camera to the App
Before adding a camera to the app, please check the following points
- Distance between the Wi-Fi router and the camera should be within 3 meters/9 feet during configuration.
- Make sure your smartphone is connected to the Wi-Fi router before configuration.
Step 1: Open the app and tap the icon. Step 2: Select “Battery
Camera”. Step 3: Power on the camera: Press and hold the power button for
3 seconds until the LED indicator flashes red.
Step 4: Reset the camera: Insert the reset pin into the reset hole and
depress for 5 seconds.
Step 5: Wi-Fi setup: Enter the name and password of your Wi-Fi (2.4GHz
only).
Step 6: Scan the QR code: Remove the protective film on the lens and let
the camera scan the QR code that pops up in the app (keep the scanning
distance within 20cm/8 inches). When the scan is successful, you will hear a
tone.
Step 7: Wait for the connection progress to be 100%.
Device Menu
Camera Setting
Motion Detection
Motion detection is turned on, and its sensitivity is set to “High” level by
default. You can turn it on/off and adjust its sensitivity according to the
instructions below.
Turn the motion detection on/off:
Go to “Settings” page tap “Alarm Setting”- tap “Motion
Detection”> switch “Motion Detection” to on / off.
Adjust the sensitivity:
Go to “Settings” page- tap “Alarm Setting”- tap “Motion
Detection”> set sensitivity to high/ low.
Alarm Notification
This camera is not designed for 7×24 recording. When the motion detection is on, the camera will be triggered only when it detects motions and make the following responses:
- Send alarm notifications to your phone.
- Save videos automatically to the Micro SD card or Cloud Storage.
You can check all the notifications or turn the alarm notification on/off according to the instructions below.
Turn alarm notification on/off:
Go to “Settings” page switch “Receive Notifications” to on/off.
Check notifications:
Go to “Devices” page tap “Messages” -tap “Alarm Messages”.
Micro SD Card Formatting
Go to “Settings” page tap “SD Card” tap “Format”.
Two-way Talk
Tap and hold the icon in the Live Viewing page of the app to speak.
CONNECTIONS
The camera fails to connect to my phone.
Check if your Wi-Fi name and password are correct.
Make sure your Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz. This device does not support 5GHz.
Make sure your camera and phone are close to the router for setting up.
How can I change to another Wi-Fi?
- Delete the device on the “Device” list in the app.
- Reset the camera.
- Reconnect the camera to the app.
I received too many false alarms.
- When you install the camera outdoor, it is recommended to set the sensitivity of the detection to “Low”.
- Avoid installing the camera in a position facing strong ights/mirror/window.
- Avoid placing the camera too close to any angel with heavy traffic.
- Recommended distances between the camera and moving objects are within 10 meters/32 feet.
- Keep the camera away from the outlets, including air conditioner vents, humidifier outlets, heat transfer vents of the projectors, etc.
- Keep the camera at least 1 meter/39 inches way from any wireless devices to avoid interference such as microwave stove, Wi-Fi routers, etc.
My phone didn’t receive alarm notifications.
- Make sure the app is running in the background.
- Please check if “Receive Notifications” is set on in the app.
- Make sure the app notification is allowed in the “Settings” of your smartphone.
My camera is offline.
- Check if the camera is out of power.
- Make sure the network is normal.
How to share the device with others?
- Open the app and enter “Me” page.
- Tap “Device Share” and select the device you want to share.

Important Safety Instructions
- Only use with the stand, mount, and mounting screws specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the device.
- Do not install this product on an unstable platform or bracket to prevent it from falling, which may cause severe equipment damage and personal injury.
- Do not install this product near any equipment that generates strong magnetic fields, in any environment with flammable or explosive materials or in extremely hot, cold, rainy environments.
- Do not install this product facing any objects with bright lights, including sunshine, bright lamp lights, etc.
- This product and accompanying accessories are NOT toys. Do not allow children to play with them.
- Do not attempt to disassemble this product. When you need to repair this product, please have it done by a trained or authorized personnel.
- Do not operate the device if there are signs of smoke, steam, Over-heating or crackling noise that can be heard from the device.
- Clean the camera with a dry cloth only.
- The manufacturer will not be deemed liable or held responsible for any damage caused by faults or manufacturing defects that may be present in any of its products or the misuse or incorrect installation of the device.

A lithium-ion battery is used in this device. If these guidelines are not
followed, batteries may experience a shortened life span or may cause fire,
chemical burn, electrolyte leakage, and/or injury.
- Do NOT disassemble, modify, remanufacture, puncture or damage the device or batteries.
- Do NOT remove or attempt to remove the non-user-replaceable battery.
- Do NOT expose the device or batteries to fire, explosion, or other hazards.
