Product Information

The Kit Medium Kme3020 is a set of accessories designed for use with a specific model of pruning shears. It includes the following components:

1 – Snijkop ‘Kit Medium’ (Cutting head)
2 – Afneembare kap (Removable cap)
3 – Hulpstuk voor afneembare kap (Attachment for removable cap)
4 – M3x10-schroeven met verzonken kop (M3x10 screws with countersunk head) (x1)
5 – Plastic schroeven met verzonken kop 3×16 (Plastic screws with countersunk head 3×16) (x2)
6 – Plastic schroeven met verzonken kop 3×10 (Plastic screws with countersunk head 3×10) (x2)
7 – TORX Sleutel 30 (TORX Key 30)
8 – Uitbreiding (Extension)

Product Usage Instructions

Disassembly:

Remove the two screws from the cap (V3020).
Remove the removable cap (921C).
Remove the protective cover of the angled screws using a flat-head screwdriver (921CV).
Remove the two screws from the hook (906V) using the TORX key (CLET30) and the extension (750R). Tighten the vise gently.
Remove the Kit Standard.

Assembly:

Tighten the two screws again (V310).
Place the Kit Medium on the pruning shears.
Reinstall the two angled screws without tightening (906V).
Tighten the two angled screws (906V) using the TORX key (CLET30) and the extension. Make sure it appears between the blade and the nut (810E).
Tighten the nut (810E).
Tighten the screw (V56TB).

Refer to page 7 of the user manual for instructions on how to “Turn On” the device and page 16 for adjusting the “Half-opening/crossing of the blade” Remember to keep the parts stored properly.

For all these operations you must disconnect the pruning shears.
To change the cutting head on your equipment, it is strongly recommended to request assistance from your dealer, who is authorised to give you all necessary advice.

DISASSEMBLY

A. Remove the two cover screws (V3020).
B. Take off the removable cover (921C).
C. Remove the cover protecting the hook screws (921CV) using a flat-tipped screwdriver.
D. Remove the two hook screws (906V) using the TORX wrench (CLET30) and the extension (750R). Only moderately tighten the vise.
E. Remove the Kit.
ASSEMBLY:
F. Screw the two screws (V310).
G. Place the Medium Kit on the pruning shears.
H. Screw in the two hook screws (906V) without tightening.
I. Using the TORX wrench (CLET30) and the extension (750R), tighten the two hook screws (906V). Only moderately tighten the vise.
J. Place the hook screw protection cover (921CV).
K. Place the removable cover (921CMS).
L. Screw in the screw (V310TF).
M. Grease the rack and pinion teeth using Extreme performance grease (952GA).
N. Place the Medium Kit removable cover (921CM).
O. Screw the two screws (V316).
P. Loosen the screw (V56TB).
Q. Unscrew the nut (810E) by a quarter turn.
R. Using the grease gun (952P), grease the kit through the greasing cap (809B) until the grease appears between the blade and the nut (810E).
S. Re-tighten the nut (810E).
T. Lock the screw (V56TB).
