SAFETY RULES

  • Risk of electric shock — The UPS device does not have a structure that allows the user to perform repairs or replacements on their own. Do not open the housing by yourself.
  • UPS is powered with a 12 V sealed, maintenance-free lead battery made with AGM technology.
  • If you connect the device to a non-bipolar, three-core, grounded outlet, there is a risk of electric shock.
  • In case of a failure, turn this device off by pressing the power button, and then disconnect it from the mains power supply and disconnect all the devices plugged into the UPS.
  • The device is not protected against moisture. Avoid using in damp rooms. Do not place near containers with liquid and moisture sources.
  • The device is suitable for work in room conditions.
  • Do not plug the device into its power outlet. Do not plug the mains plug into the output socket of the device.
  • The UPS has internal guards and stabilizers and limited power. Do not connect any additional surge protection devices, extension cords, or power distributors.
  • The UPS is not suitable for powering equipment outside the category of IT equipment. It can not be used to power medical devices or household appliances (kettles, vacuum cleaners, microwave ovens).
  • To prevent overheating, do not cover the unit, block the access to the air, expose to sunlight, or install near heat sources such as radiators or heaters.
  • Disconnect the device from the power source before cleaning. Do not use liquid detergents to clean the device.
  • Do not throw the battery into the flare as it can explode.
  • Do not disassemble the built-in battery. The electrolyte is dangerous to the eyes and skin.
  • To avoid short circuits or electric shocks, follow the safety rules:
  • When handling the battery, remove all metal parts (rings, watches) from your hands;
  • Only use tools with insulated handles;
  • Use insulating gloves;
  • Do not place metal tools on the battery case near the terminals;
  • Before disconnecting the battery, turn off the UPS and disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet.
  • Repairs and replacement of the battery must only be carried out by trained technicians at authorized service centers.
  • Replacement should be with a battery of the same type and parameters.
  • During replacement, the ambient temperature cannot exceed 40 ‘C (104 OF).
  • When installing the device, make sure the leakage current does not exceed 5 mA.
  • At the end of its useful life, do not dispose of the device with your normal household waste. For proper treatment, recovery, and recycling take this product to a designated collection point.

ATTENTION:

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE GREEN CELL UPS

  1. Device
    • After taking it out of the package, make sure that no damage in transit is visible on the case of the device. If you notice any damage, do not connect the device and contact the seller.
  2. Charging
    • The device leaves the factory with fully charged batteries. However, due to self-discharge, it may be necessary to charge it after receiving it.
    • Switch on the device and connect it to the mains. Leave the UPS for about 6 hours without loading to fully charge it.
  3. Location
    • The device should be used under controlled conditions to ensure adequate airflow. Be sure to avoid: large pollutants (dust, sand, etc.), humidity, corrosion sources, and high temperatures.
    • At the same time, you should remember to keep the UPS away from computer monitors to avoid interference.
  4. Connection
    • Connect the PowerProof power supply to a bipolar socket with a ground pin. Then you can connect the computer and other devices to the output jacks. ATTENTION!
    • Do not connect devices via extension cords or distributors.
  5. Commissioning
    • To start the device, press the power button on the front of the casing. To turn off the power supply, press the button again.
  6. Cold start
    • To force the operation of the battery power supply, press the Emver button.

USING THE GC UPS DESKTOP APP

GENERAL WARRANTY CONDITIONS

  4. The warranty does not exclude, limit, or suspend the rights of the Purchaser resulting from the implied warranty for defects.

  6. The Guarantor will inform the Purchaser about the method of processing the warranty complaint (i.e., acceptance or refusal of acceptance) within 14 days from the receipt of the product. In case the Guarantor acknowledges the validity of the complaint, the defect of the product will be removed by the Guarantor or the defective product will be replaced with one without defects within 14 days from the date of informing the
