Default Keyboard Layout
- LED1:

Remark: LED Indicator is working under Bluetooth mode but only light up 2 seconds for power saving design.
Macro Programming Instructions (change any key to any other key):
- Turn on the Dip switch 3 to Macro mode.
- Macro keys cannot be assigned in the default layer. Macro keys can be assigned in layer 1~3.
- Macro keys cannot be assigned for some function keys, for example: Fn/mute/vol-/vol+/cal.

Choose Layer 1~3 (Fn + 2/3/4).
Press Fn + 1 / Fn + 2 / Fn + 3 / Fn + 4 to select the desired layer.
There are 4 layers in total. -
Fn + 1 = Default Layer

Fn + 2 = Layer 1
-
Fn + 3 = Layer 2

Fn + 4 = Layer 3

Press Fn + Right Ctrl (CapsLock I .ED flashing in macro mode).

Reassign the Key:
- Select the key position for new macro. press the P key.
- Press the button to be changed (For example, select the L key first, and then This would change the position of the P key to the L key.) In the selecting process, the CapsLock LED will flash.

Press the right Alt key once to save the new setting.

Press FN + right Ctrl again to exit the macro mode. (At this time, the CapsLock LED will turn off.)

Repeat steps 1 through 5 to change any of the original key to other keys.
Remark:
- Macro is prohibited on the default layer.
- Macro is allowed in layer 1~3.
- Dip switch 2 and 4 must be off in Macro function.
- You can do the Macro function in Mac OS or Bluetooth Mode.
Bluetooth Pairing

Please turn the Bluetooth switch to “On”.

Pairing: Press Fn+6 (or 7/8) arround 3 seconds, LED3 will flash.
The LED3 will turn off after pairing.- Press Fn+6 pairing device1
- Press Fn+7 pairing device2
- Press Fn+8 pairing device3
Maximum pairing for 3 different devices.

Switching Devices: Press Fn+9 to switch BT mode / USB mode.
Note: When switching to different devices, LED3 will flash 1 time.
Reset Function: Full Keyboard Reset (to factory settings): Press 2 Alt
keys together arround 5 seconds. (3LEDs will flash 3 times). (Warning: all
programmed layers, macros and remaps will be lost).
*In Mac OS Layout: Press 2 Command keys.
Dip Switch Specification:
- Dip Switch 1 ON: Mac layout ON (OFF for Windows layout).
- Dip Switch 2 ON: Capslock and Left Ctrl keys exchange position.
- Dip Switch 3 ON: Macro function on/off.
- Dip Switch 4 ON: Capslock and FN keys exchange position.
Windows and Mac OS Function Keys
*For Mac OS Layout: Ensure Dip switch is in Mac mode (Dip switch 1 ON).
Fn Function List
*To turn on or off WinLock, press Fn + Left_win for about 2 secs. (All Led will flash 1 time).
How to download or update firmware on the MISTEL keyboard
- Download new firmware from MISTEL web site.
- MISTEL can also send new firmware to you by direct mail. Remember to convert the files from ex to .exe format to make it an executable file.
- Connect your keyboard and computer. Start the firmware update program and press OK to update to the new firmware.
Troubleshooting
If the keyboard is not working properly, please do the following steps.
- Perform a full keyboard reset (Warning: all programmed layers, macros and remaps will be lost) Full Keyboard Reset (to factory settings):
- Press 2 Alt keys together for 5 seconds. (3 LEDs will flash 3 times)
- Replug keyboard cable.
If the key fails to work or respond properly, please check it by the following steps.
- Check that all 4 dip switches are OFF.
- Check whether a single key does not respond or multiple keys do not respond
- If a single key does not respond, there may be a shaft fault that needs to be repaired.
- If there are multiple keys that do not respond at the same time, a short circuit may be present somewhere inside the keyboard.
Keyboard Warranty Description
The warranty for each keyboard is one year. If the keyboard fails after the
warranty period, MISTEL can repair the keyboard but you will be asked to pay
for shipping to and from MISTEL. Repair costs will only be charged for major
parts failures. If the keyboard fails within one year, we will provide free
repair service. Please send the keyboard to us for maintenance and repair. We
will send it back to you as soon as possible after repair or provide parts for
you to replace on your own. If the keyboard is damaged due to human factors or
the keyboard is damaged due to external forces, we can provide repairs but
will charge shipping and repair fees. If the keyboard has water or fluid
inside the PCB, DO NOT wash it with water, but use only a dry cloth. Fluid in
the keyboard can cause corrosion, requiring the entire PCB to be replaced.
