SERVICE LIFE AND REPLACEMENT

The service life of the product mainly depends on the type and frequency of use as well as on external influences. Sharp edges, knots, moisture and icing especially may substantially impair the loading strength of textile products. When approaching the durability limits or latest at the end of the maximum service life indicated, the product must be removed from use. Products made of synthetic fibres (Polyamid, Polyester, Dyneema®, Aramid, Vectran®) are subject to some aging even if not used; their service life especially depends on the intensity of the ultraviolet radiation and other climatic conditions they are exposed to. When approaching the durability limits or latest at the end of the maximum service life indicated, the product must be removed from use.

Maximum service life
With optimum storage conditions and without use: 12 years

Maximum useful life
