INITIAL SETUP
Remove the battery cover located on the back of the scale, and place 2 AAA
batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure to check the battery+/-
polarities are properly inserted.

OPERAT ING INSTRUCTIONS

Power On
Press the On/Off/Tare button. Batteries should be installed prior, and set on a hard, even surface. -
Power Off
Press the On/Off/Tare button. First make sure there is nothing on the weighing platform (the LCD screen should display zero)
Note: To extend battery life, the scale will automatically turn off after 2 minutes of inactivity.
When the scale is powered on, simply press the UNIT button to switch between ounces (oz), pounds (lbs), grams (g), and milliliters (ml). The scale will save the unit of measurement you last selected each time it is turned on. Turn the scale on and gently place the object(s) on the center of the weighing platform. The weight will immediately display on the screen. If the object is uneven, the scale may fine-tune the computed weight during the first seconds of measurement.
USING THE TARE FEATURE
Use the tare feature to subtract the weight of a bowl or plate, and determine
the net weight of the ingredients being weighed.
- Turn on th scale and place the empty container onto the scale’s weighing platform. The scale will display weight on the LCD display.
- When the empty container remains on the weighing platform, press the On/Off/Tare button once to reset the scale to zero.
- Place the ingredients you would like measured into the container. The net weight will then display on the LCD screen. NOTE : After removing the container from the weighing platform, the scale will display a negative number. Simply press the On/Off/Tare button to reset it and deactivate the Tare value.
IMPORTANT INDICATORS
- When the LCD displays “LO” and automatically powers off, the batteries need to be replaced. For optimal use only new AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
- When the weight detected exceeds 11 lbs or 5 kg, the LCD will display “Err”. Immediately remove the object from the scale’s weighing platform to avoid damage to the scale’s sensors.
- If the scale displays “Unst” on its LCD display, the object being weighed may have shifted. Remove the object from the weighing platform and allow a few seconds for the scale to reset. Then ensure the object being weighed is stationary before gently replacing it on the scale.
- If the scale displays “out2” on the LCD display, the scale was not able to successfully reset itself. Remove all objects from the scale, and turn it off and back on. If the problem persists, remove the batteries from the scale to force a hard reset.
WARNINGS AND MAINTAINANCE
- To clean the scale, use only a damp cloth. Do not soak and/or submerge the scale in water, or any other liquids. This scale is not waterproof. Do not expose the scale to moisture as this will cause damage to the scale and void the warranty.
- Always ensure the scale is stored and operated at room temperature and on a stable flat surface.
- Gently place all items on the scale’s weighing platform. Never drop an item on the scale, or leave an object on the scale’s weighing platform for an extended period of time.
- Avoid placing the scale near cell phones or other devices that can cause electromagnetic interference. This can cause the scale to malfunction.
- Store the scale in a clean dry location. Dust, dirt and moisture from humidity can accumulate on the weighing sensors and electronics, causing inaccuracy or malfunction.
- Remove the batteries if the scale will not be used for an extended period of time.
- This product is not a toy and should be kept away from children.
- Do not attempt to operate this scale if it is dropped or damaged 1n any manner.
- This scale is intended for indoor use only.
- Do not attempt to disassemble this scale. Doing so will void the warranty.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
Your “Easy@Home Scale” is warranted to the original owner for 1 year from the
date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship under normal use
and service. Should your scale prove defective within 1 year from the date of
purchase, return the defective part or unit, freight prepaid along with an
explanation of the claim to ” Easy@Home Scale”. Please pack your scale
carefully to avoid damages in transit. Under this warranty, Easy@Home will
repair or replace any parts found to be defective due to manufacturer’s
defect. This warranty extends only to personal use and does not extend to any
product that has been used for commercial use, rental use, or use which is not
intended. This warranty is not transferable. Easy@Home is not responsible in
any way for damages, losses or inconveniences caused by equipment failure or
by user negligence, abuse, or use not in accordance with the “User Guide” or
any additional safety, use, or warnings included in the product materials.
NOTE: Further, Easy@Home is not liable for incidental or consequential damages of any Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
