a. Why the hard drive with capacity larger than 2TB cannot be recognized by a computer?
Windows XP can support 2TB hard drive at the most. To solve the problem, please upgrade the OS to Vista (64 or bit) or the higher version and change the disk partition to GPT. -
b. The Hard drive does not show up in “file manager”.
If the hard drive has been partitioned, it can work with SA03001 directly and it will be recognized as a “New Disk” in the computer. If not, please format and partition the hard drive. -
C. 3.5-inch IDE hard drive cannot be recognized.
When SA03001 works with a 3.5-inch IDE hard drive, the PIN power cable must be applied.
