Product Information
The Bluetooth Tachometer BlueTak is a device designed for measuring the rotational speed of objects using laser technology. It is important to note that the laser beam should not be looked into or pointed at people. The device should not be used by children and the laser irradiation port should not come in contact with a rotating body. Additionally, measurements should not be taken with wet or oily hands or while wearing loose-fitting clothing.
The BlueTak Tachometer comes with the following items included in the box:

- 2x AA Batteries
- 1x Convex Contact (for measuring convex surfaces)
- 2x Concave Contacts (for measuring concave surfaces)
- 1x Contact Adapter

The BlueTak Tachometer is compatible with MultiGage Reader software on iOS and
Windows operating systems. The iOS app can be downloaded for free from the App
Store, while the Windows software can be obtained from Motionics.com/download
(requires a BLE Dongle for connectivity).

Product Usage Instructions
- Before using the BlueTak Tachometer, ensure that the batteries are properly inserted.
- Select the appropriate contact (convex or concave) based on the surface you are measuring.
- If using the contact adapter, attach it to the selected contact.
- Stick the reflective tape on the rotating object, ensuring it is securely attached.
- Turn on the BlueTak Tachometer by pressing the power button.
- Aim the laser beam at the reflective tape on the rotating object from a safe distance.
- Press the measurement button to start measuring the rotational speed.
- The measured speed will be displayed on the screen of the BlueTak Tachometer.
- After use, turn off the device and store it safely in the carrying case.

Important Notes
- Do NOT look into the laser beam.
- Do NOT point the laser beam at people.
- Do NOT allow children to use the device.
- Do NOT allow the laser irradiation port to come in contact with a rotating body.
- Do NOT measure using wet or oily hands, or while wearing loosely fitting clothing.
Description
- Laser Irradiation Port – source from which the laser is projected
- Display Screen- displays the measurement value
- Operation Key 1 – select the item
- Operation Key 2 – configure settings, select the item
- Operation Key 3 – switch measurement display, enter key
- Operation Key 4 – return measurement display to normal, cancel key
- Power/Measurement Key – turn power on (will turn off automatically)
- Mounting Adapter – allows the unit to be mounted on a tripod (thread size 1/4-20)
- Battery Compartment – insert A batteries

Compatible Software

- Windows software is available at Motionics.com/download.
Quick Start
- Install 2x AA batteries in the battery compartment.
- Press the Power/Measurement Key to turn on the tachometer.
- Plug in the USB Blue tooth dongle if using Windows.
- Run the software, then tap the Scan/+ button to enter the pairing page.
- Wait for the software to “nish scanning nearby devices, then select BlueTakXXXX to connect.
- The connection may take a few seconds. Once paired, BlueTak readings show in the software.
- Apply the re#ective tape to the object to be measured.
- Point the laser irradiation port to the re#ective tape, keeping a distance of 50 to 4000 mm.
- Press the Power/Measurement Key to start measurement.
- BlueTak will automatically power o! when no operation has been performed for a certain period of time (interval can be set in “Auto o!” in the device system settings).
