Intended Use
The following safety guidelines are intended to prevent unforeseen risks or
damage from unsafe or incorrect operation of the appliance. Please check the
packaging and appliance on arrival to make sure everything is intact to ensure
safe operation. If you find any damage, please contact the retailer or dealer.
Please note modifications or alterations to the appliance are not allowed for
your safety concern. Unintended use may cause hazards and loss of warranty
claims.
Explanation of Symbols
Danger
This symbol indicates that there are dangers to the life and health of persons
due to extremely flammable gas.
Warning of electrical voltage
This symbol indicates that there is a danger to life and health of persons due
to voltage.
Warning
The signal word indicates a hazard with a medium level of risk which, if not
avoided, may result in death or serious injury.
Caution
The signal word indicates a hazard with a low degree of risk which, if not
avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury.
Attention
The signal word indicates important information (e.g. damage to property), but
not danger.
Observe instructions
This symbol indicates that a service technician should only operate and
maintain this appliance in accordance with the operating instructions.
Read these operating instructions carefully and attentively before using/commissioning the unit and keep them in the immediate vicinity of the installation site or unit for later use!

- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Safety Warning
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using the appliance.
- To avoid fire or shock hazard, plug the appliance directly into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
- The humidifier should always be placed on a firm, flat, waterproof surface at least four feet (1.2m) from bedside, twelve inches (30 cm) from the wall, and out of reach of patients, children and pets.
- Be sure the humidifier is in a stable position and the power cord is away from heated surfaces and out of the way to prevent the unit from being tipped over.
- Do not use outdoors; this appliance is intended for indoor use.
- Plug and unplug humidifier with dry hands.
- Be sure to unplug the unit by pulling on the plug and not the cord.
- Shut off and unplug the humidifier before moving or tilting.Never tilt, move or attempt to empty the humidifier when it is operating.
- Empty the water tank and base before moving or tilting in case of water leakage.
- Use both hands when carrying the full tank of water.
- Do not pour water in any openings other than the water tank.
- Do not drop or insert any object into any openings on the appliance.
- Do not block intake or output vents.
- Do not add any additives, medications, inhalants, scented products or essential oil into water tank or base.
- Do not operate the humidifier without water.
- Unplug the humidifier when not in operation or while being cleaned.
- The humidifier requires regular cleaning. Refer to cleaning and maintenance.
- Never place housing under water flow or immerse in liquids.
- Do not operate the humidifier when the cord or plug has been damaged.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazard.
- Do not attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit. Doing so will void your warranty.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Add Water
Option 1.
Add water through the water inlet of the main body. You may see the water
level via the water window on the base (water tank). DO NOT add water through
the fan grille.
Option 2.
Lift/remove the main body. Add water directly into the water tank.
Reposition the main body.
NOTE
- Always unplug the humidifier before adding water.
- DO NOT add water through the fan grille.
- Do not fill water over the maximum water level.
- Do not add additives, such as essential oil, perfume or medicine, to the water.
You may add essential oil in the aroma tray.
Operating The Humidifier
- After adding water, turn on the power by rotating the knob clockwise from 0 to 1, the unit begins to humidify.
- Rotate the knob to adjust the fan speed: “0” is off; “1” is low speed; “2” is mid speed; and “3” is high speed. Higher speed provides higher humidity output.
- When the “ ” indicator light turns red, the humidifier is at a low water level. Turn off the power, unplug the unit, and then refill the water tank by following “Add Water” section in the user manual.
How To Fill Essential Oil
Unscrew the aroma lid and put a drop of essential oil in the aroma tray.
Reposition the lid.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Main body cleaning
Wipe the external of the body with a clean, soft and damp cloth. -
Sink cleaning
Wipe the sink with a wet towel. NOTES
• Be sure to unplug the humidifier from the electric outlet before cleaning and maintenance/descaling;
• Do not clean any part of the humidifier with abrasive, corrosive or flammable cleaning agents (e.g. bleach or alcohol).
• Remove Limescale and debris in the water tank and sink regularly. Once a week is recommended. -
Wick filter cleaning
Rinse the wick filter with a slow stream of water; be sure not to rub it, and the water temperature should not be greater than 100°F. NOTE
• After use, there may be some yellowish white limescale on the surface of the filter. It will affect the humidification performance, but is not harmful to human health. It is recommended to replace the filter every three months. If purified water is used for humidification, the filter can be used for a longer period of time. -
Aromatic tray cleaning
Remove the aroma lid and wipe it with a soft and damp cloth.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Fault | Solution |
---|---|
The humidifier does not work. | Make sure the humidifier is powered on. |
Make sure that the tank is full of water and that the main body is correctly
fitted into the base.
Water level goes down very slowly| The humidification of evaporative
humidifier varies with the ambient humidity. The dryer the air, the faster the
humidification.
If the wick filter is contaminated, rinse or replace it.
Leakage at bottom| Make sure that the humidifier is not overfilled with water.
Make sure that the water tank is placed correctly. If the problem persists,
please contact the Customer Service Centre.
The wick filter turns yellow after a period of use.| It is limescale, which is
made of minerals in the water. The limescale would affect the humidification
performance, but is not harmful to human health. It is recommended to replace
the wick filter every three months. If purified water is
used for humidification, the filter can be used for a longer period of time
The air coming out of the fan grille smells not good.| Remove the wick filter
and air dry it when the humidifier is not in use for a long period of time.
Clean or replace the wick filter.
There is water in the water tank but the low water indicator is on.| Make sure
that the floater is in place. If the problem persists, just contact the
Customer Service Centre.
No visible mist coming out of the humidifier. Is the humidifier working?| The
humidifier uses the evaporative humidification technology. There is no water
mist visible to naked eye when the moist comes out of the fan grille.

If this product is found to be faulty as a result of faulty materials or
workmanship within one year from date of purchase, it will be repaired free of
charge.
This guarantee is subject to the following terms:
- Sunpentown must be notified of the fault.
- Proof of purchase must be presented to Sunpentown’s nominated representative.
- The warranty will be void if the product if modified, misused or repaired by an unauthorized person.
- The warranty after repair will not be extended beyond the original one-year period.
- All replacement parts will be new or reconditioned.
- Parts, which are replaced, become the property of Sunpentown.
- The warranty applies for the use of the product in the USA only.
What is NOT COVERED:
- Warranty does not include freight charges.
- Incidental or consequential damage caused by possible defects with this product.
- Damage to product caused by improper power supply voltage, accident, fire, floods or acts of nature.
- Failure of product resulting from unauthorized modifications to the product.
- Improper installation or failure to perform the necessary maintenance.
