Product Information

The Payment Connect is a wireless communication device designed to be used in compatible interfaces of JURA coffee machines. It enables wireless communication between the coffee machine and various additional devices. Any other use of the Payment Connect is considered improper use, and JURA cannot be held liable for the consequences of such use.

Product Usage Instructions

Installation

The Payment Connect should be placed in the service interface of the coffee machine, usually located at the top or back of the device under a removable cover. If you are unsure where the service interface of your coffee machine is located, consult your authorized dealer or visit jura.com. Insert the Payment Connect into the service interface of the coffee machine. The “Payment Connect” program item will appear in the device settings of the fully automatic machine.

Connecting with JURA Cool Control:

The Payment Connect can be used to connect the coffee machine with JURA Cool Control. The Cool Control must also have a Payment Connect. When a device is turned off and on again, the connection will be automatically restored.

Resetting to Factory Settings:

If you encounter general problems with the Payment Connect (e.g., connection issues), it can be reset to factory settings in the device settings of your fully automatic machine (Reset Payment Connect program item).

Coffee Machine:

Cool Control:

  • The Cool Control is turned off, and the Payment Connect is not powered
  • The connection with the coffee machine has been established
  • The coffee machine is turned off, and a connection with the fully automatic machine is not possible

Actually use

Payment Connect may only be used in dedicated interfaces from JURA. He takes care of the wireless communication between the coffee machine and various additional devices (see for compatible devices jura.com). Any other use is considered improper usage. JURA cannot accept any liability responsible for the consequences of improper use usage.

Installation

The Payment Connect must be in the service interface of the fully automatic coffee machine placed. This is usually located on the top or rear of the device, under a removable cover. If you do not know where the service interface of your fully automatic coffee machine is located located, request it your authorized dealer or visit jura.com.

  • Plug the Payment Connect into the service interface of the coffee machine. In the device settings of the fully automatic machine the program item appears “Payment Connect”

Connect with JURA Cool Control

The Payment Connect can be used for the connection of the fully automatic machine and JURA Cool Control. The Cool Control must also about a Payment Connect for this purpose possess. If a device is turned off and on turned on again, the connection is established automatically restored.

Reset Payment Connect to factory setting

  • For general problems with the Payment Connect (e.g. a connection problem) can set it in your device settings fully automatic reset to the factory setting (program item “Reset Payment connect”).

Warranty Conditions

For this machine, which was designed and built for domestic use, JURA Products Ltd, Vivary Way, Colne, Lancashire offers to the end customer, in addition to the rights of guarantee from the retailer, a manufacturer’s warranty with the following terms and conditions: 25 months from the date of initial purchase

  1. For products which are subject to selective distribution, the manufacturer’s warranty shall only apply if the JURA machine was purchased at an authorised JURA specialised dealer.
  2. JURA shall remedy all defects within the warranty period. JURA shall decide whether to remedy the defect by repairing the machine, replacing defective parts or replacing the machine. The performance of warranty services shall not cause the warranty period to be extended or restarted. Replaced parts shall become the property of JURA.
  3. A warranty service is not applicable for damage or defects caused by incorrect connection, incorrect handling or transport, repair attempts or modifications by unauthorised persons or non-compliance with the instructions for use. In particular, the warranty shall be void if JURA’s operating or maintenance instructions are not followed or if maintenance products other than JURA water filters, JURA cleaning tablets or JURA descaling tablets are used which do not correspond to the original specifications. Wearing parts (e.g. seals, grinding discs, valves) are excluded from the warranty, as is damage caused by foreign bodies entering the grinder (e.g. stones, wood, paper clips).
  4. The sales receipt, specifying the purchase date and machine type, must be provided as evidence of warranty claims. In order to simplify the process, the sales receipt should also include the following information where possible: name and address of the customer and serial number of the machine.
  5. If the end customer is a company or a legal person, or if the machine is not used in a domestic environment, the manufacturer’s warranty is valid for 12 months.
  6. Warranty services are performed in the United Kingdom. For machines purchased in Europe and taken to another European country, services shall be performed in accordance with the JURA warranty conditions applicable in this country.
  7. The warranty services shall be performed in the United Kingdom after prior consultation with the service hotline 0844 257 92 29 (charged at local rates) by sending or handing over the product to.

International guarantee for all other countries

For this machine, which was designed and built for domestic use, JURA AG offers to the end customer, in addition to the rights of guarantee from the retailer, a manufacturer’s warranty with the following terms and conditions:
