DESCRIPTION

  1. Eject button
  2. Speed selector knob
  3. Turbo button
  4. Whisks
  5. Dough hook

SETTING UP

Before using your mixer for the first time, wash the whisks in warm, soapy water. Rinse them, then dry them. Check that the speed selector is in the zero position and the appliance is disconnected from the mains supply. Insert one whisk at a time, placing the tip of the shaft into one of the slots on the mixer. Turn the whisk slightly and push it until it snaps into place.

USING THE APPLIANCE

Before using the mixer, check that the speed selector is in the 0 position.
Dip the whisks into the product to be mixed.
Turn on the mixer and adjust the speed using the speed selector.
Start by mixing at low speed, then gradually increase to reach the desired speed.
During operation, you can press the speed selector to select the desired setting. There are 5 speeds, from position 1 (slowest), to position 5 (fastest) and a TURBO mode.
Hold down the TURBO button to get a speed about 40% faster than the selected one. Release it to return to the selected speed.
Caution: Never place any metal knives, spoons, forks or other utensils in the bowl during operation. Never press the eject button while the mixer is operating.
Guide the mixer gently on the edges and in the centre of the bowl, working in the same direction.
Always start by mixing the contents of the bowl at low speed. Then gradually increase the speed as described in the recipe.
If you wish to add ingredients, set the speed selector to position 0 and put the mixer down. Ensure that the whisks are placed above the bowl to avoid splashes.
IMPORTANT: The maximum duration of continuous operation is 5 minutes, then turn the mixer off and let it rest for at least 20 minutes.
When the mixture is ready, set the speed selector to position 0, gently lift up the whisks and turn off the appliance, and then use a spatula to remove any mixture that has stuck to the whisks.
Never place your fingers directly on the whisks.
Ensure that the appliance is turned off before removing the whisks fully from the bowl.
To remove the attachments, hold the whisks in one hand and press the eject button firmly with the other hand while pulling on the whisks.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Wash the whisks before and after each use.
Make sure to dry them thoroughly after washing. Unplug the cable from the power socket, then clean the mixer with a damp cloth and wipe it.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE MIXER IN WATER. Doing so may cause electric shock, injury, or product damage.
Avoid using abrasive cleaners that may damage the casing of your mixer. The mixer motor has been carefully lubricated at the factory and it does not require additional lubricant.
Storage:
Wrap the electric cable of the mixer and tie it with a plastic wire.
Store the mixer in a clean, dry location, in a cupboard or on a shelf. Store the whisks in a drawer.
