INOGENI SHARE2-SHARE2U Camera Mixer
The INOGENI REMOTE is a device that can control the mixing function of SHARE2/SHARE2U and the switching function of CAM300/CAM230 devices. It is a compact device with push buttons at the top that allow users to communicate with the device. The device requires correct wiring between the REMOTE and the INOGENI device for it to function properly.
Product Connectivity
Ensure that you do not plug the cable to the LAN connection of the SHARE2. Instead, plug it to the RS232 port. Do not plug an RJ45 cable between the INOGENI device and the REMOTE. The terminal block should have Pin 1 as Receive, Pin 2 as GND, Pin 3 as Transmit, and Pin 4 as 5V supply. The RJ45 port should have Pin 1 as 5V supply, Pin 2,3,4,5 as NC, Pin 6 as GND, Pin 7 as RX, and Pin 8 as TX.
Note that for the +5V supply for REMOTE to function correctly, make sure to put switch number 6 to ON position under SHARE2/SHARE2U and CAM300/CAM230.
Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that the wiring is done correctly between the INOGENI device and the REMOTE.
- Power on the INOGENI device and REMOTE.
- Use the push buttons at the top of the REMOTE to control the mixing function of SHARE2/SHARE2U and the switching function of CAM300/CAM230 devices.

How it works?
The INOGENI REMOTE is a device that can control the mixing function of SHARE2/SHARE2U and the switching function of CAM300/CAM230 devices. You just need to apply correct wiring between the REMOTE and the INOGENI device. You will then be able to communicate with the device using the push buttons at the top of the device.
Connectivity
For SHARE2 – Use a simple RJ45 cable
Warning: Do not plug the cable to the LAN connection of the SHARE2. Plug it to the RS232 port.
For SHARE2U, CAM300 and CAM230 series
- Use a RJ45 cable to a terminal block plug.
Warning: Do not plug a RJ45 cable between the INOGENI device and the REMOTE.
Terminal block
- Pin 1: Receive
- Pin 2: GND
- Pin 3: Transmit
- Pin 4: 5V supply
RJ45
- Pin 1: 5V supply
- Pin 2,3,4,5: NC
- Pin 6: GND
- Pin 7: RX
- Pin 8: TX
Regarding +5V supply for REMOTE
- Under SHARE2/SHARE2U and CAM300/CAM230, make sure to put switch number 6 to ON position.
