Connection Diagram
Connect the adapter with your device via involved USB 3.0 cable.
Driver Installation
Driver software installation may be required. Please download the driver from our official website if your computer system requires.
For Microsoft Windows 7:
- Step 1: Find the Wireless LAN Driver Zip.
- Step 2: Click to launch the executive file “Setup.exe”, then do as per the on-screen instructions.
For Mac OS:
- Step 1: Find the Wireless LAN Driver Zip.
- Step 2: Click to launch the executive file “Install.pkg”, then do as per the on-screen instructions.
- Step 3: Restart your computer as the system suggests.
Wi-Fi Connection
Be sure to turn off any other Wi-Fi in your computer.
For Microsoft Windows:
- Step 1: Please plug in the USB wireless card. If the LED starts to flash slowly, you can set up the Wi-Fi.
- Step 2: Right-click network icon in the task bar to turn on the new Wi-Fi.
- Step 3: Select the Wi-Fi SSID you want to connect to and enter the wifi password.
After successful connection, the LED would blink quickly.
NOTE:
Firstly you need to find the right WLAN name of your new wireless LAN card
then you can set it up if necessary, you can change the name in “Network
Connections”.
For Mac OS:
- Step 1: Please plug in the USB wireless card. If the LED starts to flash, you can set up the wifi.
- Step 2: A USB Wi-Fi icon would appear at the top. Click it to open and select the Wi-Fi SSID you want to connect to. After successful Wi-Fi connection, the USB Wi-Fi icon would turn into a green signal bar.
NOTE: Open a browser and test the connection.
AP Mode on Windows 7

Step 1 : Click the Realtek icon . or the green signal bar in the task bar to launch the utility.

Step 2: Go to “Mode(M)” on the menu and then click “Access Point” to switch.

Step 3: Click “Config” under “General” panel to create a new Wi-Fi in your computer.
Note:
Please change the SSID and set the authentication for your convenience and
network security. Don’t check the Disable Adapter box.
- Step 4: After successful configuration, the green bar would turn into a Wi-Fi icon . Then you can connect your lap, mobile and other wireless device to the Wi-Fi.
NOTE:
Don’t disable your local network connection. Otherwise there is no Wi-Fi Hotspot in computer.
WPS One-key Connection
Press and hold the WPS Buttons of host router and adapter for 6 seconds.
Verifying Installation
If your adapter is not functioning then probably the drivers are missing or the wrong drivers have been installed.
Windows 7:
Plug in the USB adapter.
Right-click the Computer icon > select Manage > double-click Device Manager >
go to Network adapters to see if the right driver is installed.
Mac OS:
Plug in the USB adapter.
Right-click the Apple icon > select About this Mac > Click System Report> go
to USB > Click USB Device Tree to see if the right driver is installed.
Internal MaGnet
The adapter can be absorbed on the case panel for its internal magnet.
