The Web Smart 24-Port + 4-Port UTP/SFP Combo Gigabit Port Switch is a standard switch that complies with IEEE 802.3u/ab Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet specifications. EU type power cord

hardware installation
This section will guide you to install the switch through a hardware connection and configure the switch settings through the web browser.
Before you start configuring the switch, you need to connect your devices correctly.
Use
Power the device to this switch and get a 48V power supply through Cat. Cable 5e
Network connection
- – Use a cat. 5e twisted pair cable to connect a PoE device to port (1~24) of this switch
The switch will supply power to the PoE device through the twisted pair cable. have
Please note that the power device must comply with IEEE 802.3af/at.
Other PCs, servers, and network devices can be connected to the switch using a standard “straight” twisted pair cable.
(Take VigorSwitch P1282 as an example)
Wall-mounted installation
The switch can be easily installed using a rack mount kit.

Attach the brackets to the chassis of a 19-inch or 23-inch rack. The second bracket holds the other side of the chassis as per the procedure above.

After the bracket installation, the VigorSwitch chassis can be installed in a rack using four screws for each side of the rack.
software configuration
In this section, we take VigorSwitch P1282 as an example:
Before using the switch, perform the following steps:
- Set up a physical path between the configured switch and a PC using qualified Cat UTP. 5e cable with RJ-45 connector.
If a PC connects directly to the switch, you must set the same subnet mask for the PC and the switch. The managed switch defaults are listed belowIP adress| 192.168.1.224
