**
Before first use, the consumer must first read the instructions and safety precautions of the product.
Introduction
The True Life Care Q5 uses infrared technology to achieve highly-accurate results. The Care Q5 thermometer measures body temperature in two possible ways, from the body surface, or with a special temperature sensor in the ear for even more accurate readings.
Thermometer Features
a) Choice of 2 measurement options – forehead and in-ear.
b) The measurement is performed using infrared radiation technology in
contact with the ear or non-contact measurement (1-2 cm from the skin) of the
forehead. For more accurate readings, the thermometer can be placed directly
on the forehead..
c) Hygienic and practical to use.
d) Automatically shows last taken reading when switched on.
e) Has a built-in clear and legible colour backlit display.
f) Automatically changes display colour relative to measured temperature:
green (32.0 – 37.4 °C), orange (37.5 – 38.0 °C), red (38.0 – 42.9 °C).
g) The backlight remains on for 15 seconds after taking a reading, which
means it can be read in the dark. It turns off automatically when inactive.
This significantly increases battery life.
