Obtaining Best Performance from your Halo Remote
The operating range of the Halo Marker Pole System, like all low power radio
systems, is of both transmitter and receiver, the terrain over which it is
being used, the prevailing atmospheric conditions and the presence of any
interfering signals.
To obtain best performance, it is recommended that you –
- Operate the Remote as high above ground as possible – If worn on the body, it should be worn as high as possible and on the outside of your clothing.
- Try to keep a direct “line-of-sight” between the receiver and transmitter when in use – obstruction such as trees etc. may cause loss/reduction of signal.
- Do not keep the Remote in the same pocket as a mobile phone, or other electronic devices.
- Ensure both the Capsule and the Remote have good batteries.
All the above hints become progressively less important, as the working range is reduced.

rain, it is important to allow the unit to dry out properly by bringing the
unit indoors and allowing to dry fully after use.
