Product Information: Lennox Mini-Split System Extended Limited Warranty

The Lennox Mini-Split System is a heating and air conditioning system that consists of an outdoor unit and up to five indoor units. It is intended for use in residential and non-residential applications and is covered by a basic five-year limited parts warranty.

An extended limited warranty is available for certain components in the Mini- Split equipment when consisting of a system. This extended limited warranty is intended to supplement the basic five-year limited warranty with an additional seven years of limited warranty coverage, providing a total of twelve years of limited warranty coverage for applicable components. Accessories and controls are excluded.

The Extended Limited Warranty is being granted to the original purchaser, who must occupy the residence or own the property where the equipment is installed. The covered equipment must be installed per the manufacturer’s instructions by a licensed professional installer, or equivalent, and must be part of an AHRI match. The Lennox Mini-Split System must comply with regional standards.

Warranty

Before using your Lennox Mini-Split System, please take a moment to read the user manual and understand the warranty terms and conditions. To register your equipment and activate the Extended Limited Warranty, please visit www.WarrantyYourWay.com (online registration required, except in California, Quebec, or where registration requirements to effectuate warranties are prohibited by law).

When using your Lennox Mini-Split System, it is important to follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully. The equipment must be installed per the manufacturer’s instructions by a licensed professional installer, or equivalent. The Lennox Mini-Split System must comply with regional standards.

If you experience any issues with your Lennox Mini-Split System, please contact a licensed professional installer or Lennox customer service for assistance. The Extended Limited Warranty covers eligible systems only and does not include labor.

Congratulations on your purchase of a Lennox mini-split system. Please take a moment to read this document for important information about your Extended Limited Warranty and registering your equipment. By registering, you are reconfirming your agreement to the terms of the Basic Limited Warranty, as incorporated into this Extended Limited Warranty, including those pertaining to Dispute Resolution. Lennox Industries Inc. (Lennox) provides certain components in its Lennox Mini-Split equipment with a basic five-year limited parts warranty (models listed on Lennox warranty certificate W900004-01). An extended limited warranty is available for certain components in the Mini- split equipment, when consisting of a system. This extended limited warranty is intended to supplement the basic five-year limited warranty with an additional seven (7) years of limited warranty coverage; therefore, providing a total of twelve (12) years of limited warranty coverage for applicable components. Accessories and Controls are excluded. In addition to the requirements and exclusions set forth in the basic warranty, other requirements and exclusions may apply. This extended limited warranty covers eligible systems only and does not include labor.

COVERED EQUIPMENT

The Lennox extended limited warranty is being offered for applicable components in select Mini-Split Systems (listed in warranty certificate W900004-01). See below for details.

EQUIPMENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Covered equipment must meet the following requirements:

1. The equipment must be a Lennox-branded Mini-Split System consisting of an Outdoor unit and up to five (5) Indoor units (models listed in warranty certificate W900004-01)
2. The equipment must be installed in a “Residential Application” (Residential Application is an owner- occupied, single-family dwelling which includes homes, duplexes and condominiums) or a non-Residential Application to be eligible.
3. The Lennox Mini-Split System must be installed per the manufacturer’s instructions by a licensed professional installer, or equivalent.
4. The Lennox Mini-Split System must be part of an AHRI-match.
5. The Lennox Mini-Split System must comply with regional standards.
6. Installation of the Lennox Mini-Split system must take place on or after March 1, 2017.
7. The Extended Limited Warranty is being granted to the original purchaser, who must occupy the residence or own the commercial building at the time of the warranty claim. Except as otherwise set forth in this Extended Limited Warranty, or prohibited by law, this Extended Limited Warranty is being extended to the original Owner and is not transferable.
8. To obtain this extended limited warranty for equipment purchased outside of California or Quebec (or where registration is prohibited by law), the equipment must be properly registered at www.lennoxwarranty.com within 60 days after the date of installation or closing date. Proof of purchase or closing date may be required. FOR EQUIPMENT PURCHASED IN CALIFORNIA OR QUEBEC (OR WHERE REGISTRATION IS PROHIBITED BY LAW), REGISTRATION IS NOT REQUIRED TO OBTAIN THIS EXTENDED LIMITED WARRANTY AND THE FAILURE TO REGISTER YOUR EQUIPMENT WILL NOT DIMINISH YOUR EXTENDED LIMITED WARRANTY OR YOUR RIGHTS THEREUNDER.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Unless modified herein, all terms and conditions set forth in the basic warranty apply. These include, but are not limited to, component availability, excluded components, repairs, care of equipment, coverage, exclusions, warranty procedures and dispute resolution.

NOTE
Registering your product does not guarantee the manufacturer’s warranty or extended warranty or the application thereof. If the registered product does not meet all qualifying factors and/or requirements for standard or extended warran-ty, or falls within one of the warranty limitations, the warranty will not apply to the equipment and/or your product regardless of the fact that the product is registered.

NOTE – Lennox reserves the right to cancel this extended limited warranty program at any time, without notice. Warranties properly registered at the time of program cancellation will continue to be honored.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Your Lennox equipment may be registered in any of the following methods:

1. complete the on-line product registration at www.WarrantyYourWay.com ,
2. contact Lennox Customer Support at www.lennox.com/help/contact-us/warranty (click on “E-mail our Contact Center”), or
3. contact Lennox Customer Support at 1-800-9-LENNOX. The following information will be required to register:
   • Owner name
   • Address where equipment is installed
   • Equipment serial and model number
   • Installation or closing date

Much of this information will be on the invoice provided by the installing contractor. The unit model number and serial number are also provided on the sticker found on the front of the literature bag assembly. Please contact the installing contractor for assistance gathering this information. Any other method of registration is not valid and will result in no coverage under this Extended Limited Warranty, except where registration is not required (e.g., California and Quebec).
