The MickeyTM Customizable Kick Scooter is a limited edition product designed in Brooklyn. It comes with a sticker pack that allows users to customize the stem of their scooter. The product is equipped with motion-activated LED light-up front and rear wheels that illuminate when in motion. The scooter also features a rear foot brake for safe and easy stopping. The handlebar height is adjustable, and the stem can be removed for easier storage and transport. The product comes with a 2-bit Phillips-head screwdriver and Allen key tool for adjustment and maintenance. Adults must assist children in the assembly and initial adjustment procedures of the product. Closed-toe, flat shoes are recommended for riding, and users should wear an ASTM F1492 approved helmet and protective gear to prevent injury in the event of an accident.

Product Usage Instructions

  4. Close the stem clamp lever and twist the knob clockwise to tighten the clamp and secure the handlebar in place.JETSON-JMCKY-STX3-Mickey-Mouse-Customizable-Kick-Scooter-fig-7

IMPORTANT : THE STEM PIN ALONE WILL NOT KEEP THE STEM SECURE. ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE STEM CLAMP IS TIGHTENED AND CLOSED PRIOR TO RIDING.

NOTE : DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN THE KNOB. OVER-TIGHTENING CAN PREVENT THE LEVER FROM OPENING AND CLOSING WITH EASE.

Always make sure the stem clamp is tightened and closed prior to riding. Do not over-tighten the knob as it can prevent the lever from opening and closing with ease.

Making Moves

To ride the scooter:

  1. Place one foot on the front of the deck facing forward.
  2. Push the other foot off the ground to propel the scooter forward. Repeat as necessary to achieve or maintain desired speed.
  3. To coast, place your kicking foot on the rear of the deck, turned outward at a slight angle for stability.

Using the Brake
PRESS DOWN GENTLY WITH YOUR REAR RIDING FOOT TO SLOW DOWN. APPLY MORE PRESSURE TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP.

Making Turns
THE SCOOTER IS A LEAN TO STEER SCOOTER. TO TURN, SLIGHTLY LEAN LEFT OR RIGHT WHILE RIDING AND THE SCOOTER WILL VEER ACCORDINGLY.

Activating the LED Lights
THE WHITE LED LIGHTS ON THE FRONT AND REAR WHEELS WILL ILLUMINATE WHENEVER THE WHEELS ARE IN MOTION.

Decorating your Scooter
DECORATE YOUR SCOOTER! JUST PEEL OFF YOUR FAVORITE STICKERS AND CUSTOMIZE THE STEM OF YOUR NEW RIDE.

NOTE : FOR SAFETY AND DURABILITY, ONLY PUT STICKERS ON THE SCOOTER’S STEM—NOT THE DECK, HANDLEBAR GRIPS, OR WHEELS.

Helmet Safety

JETSON-JMCKY-STX3-Mickey-Mouse-Customizable-Kick-Scooter-

  • PROPER POSITIONING : THE FOREHEAD IS COVERED BY THE HELMET.
  • IMPROPER POSITIONING : THE FOREHEAD IS EXPOSED. A FALL COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
  • WEAR A HELMET, APPROPRIATE CLOTHING, SHOES, AND SAFETY GEAR. AVOID CLOTHING THAT CAN GET CAUGHT INTO OR UNDER THE WHEELS. CLOSED-TOE, FLAT SHOES ARE RECOMMENDED. WEAR AN ASTM F1492 APPROVED HELMET AND PROTECTIVE GEAR TO PREVENT INJURY IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT.

To use the brake, press down gently with your rear riding foot to slow down. Apply more pressure to come to a complete stop. The scooter is a lean-to-steer scooter. To turn, slightly lean left or right while riding, and the scooter will veer accordingly. To activate the LED lights, ride the scooter so that the wheels are in motion. To decorate your scooter, peel off your favorite stickers and customize the stem of your new ride. Only put stickers on the scooter’s stem and not on the deck, handlebar grips, or wheels.

Puzzle fun! Can you identify which sticker matches with each silhouette? (Hope you don’t get too stuck on this.) Best of luck!
