The Tesla Smart Plug is an intelligent power plug that allows you to control your electrical devices remotely. It comes with a power button and a single electrical outlet that can handle up to 16A current and a maximum power of 3680W. The plug connects to your home Wi-Fi network using the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi standard, so it is essential to ensure that your router supports 2.4GHz frequency band.

Product Usage Instructions

Unbox the package and take out the Tesla Smart Plug and user manual.
Ensure that your Wi-Fi router supports the 2.4GHz frequency band, as the plug connects to the network using this standard.
Plug the Tesla Smart Plug into an electrical outlet.
Press the power button to turn on the plug. The LED light on the plug will start flashing, indicating that it is ready for setup.
Download and install the Tesla Smart app on your smartphone or tablet from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Open the app and follow the instructions to set up the plug. You will need to connect to the plug’s Wi-Fi network and enter your home Wi-Fi network credentials.
Once the setup is complete, you can use the app to control the plug remotely. You can turn it on or off, set schedules, and monitor energy usage.

How to Connect Wi-Fi?

Step 1: Download & Registration

Scan the QR Code to download Tesla Smart APP. Or Search Tesla Smart in Apple store or Google Play to install the APP
Open the Tesla Smart App, tap Register to get an account with your phone number or E-mail. Sign in the App.

Step 2: Add Devices in Easy Mode (Recommend)

Make sure your Tesla Smart Plug is powered on
Make sure your mobile phone is connected to your Wi-Fi
Press the power button for more than 5 seconds until the indicator begin to flash quickly (about 2times/second) this means the device is ready for configuration
Open your „ Tesla Sart“ APP, tap „+“ on the top right of the APP
Select Device Type, tap „ confirm indicator rapidly blink“. It will fetch the password of the Wi-Fi network your mobile phone is connected to.

Tap „Confirm“ to connect to the device, when it appears „ successfully add 1device“, then the connection is completed and your devices is listed in your APP list.
