PHOENIX ZDST6CS 180W Toyota Speaker Upgrade Kit
Product Information
The ZDST6CS is a speaker system designed for installation in a Toyota Hilux 2020 (Facelift) with a standard stereo. The system includes 2 tweeters and 2 woofers. Please note that some differences may occur between different car and year models.
Product Usage Instructions
Tools required: PH2 Screwdriver, 5mm Drill, Plastic Pry Tool, Rivet Tool, and 6x Rivets (4.8mm).
ZDST6CS Installation 1
- Use a plastic pry tool to remove the door.
- Remove the tweeter panel.
- Disconnect the tweeter connector.
- The tweeter connector is now disconnected.
- ZDST6CS Installation 2
- Remove the plastic panel using a PH2 screwdriver and a plastic pry tool.
- Unscrew the screw.
- Remove the armrest.
- Remove the window switch panel.
- ZDST6CS Installation 3
- Disconnect the connector.
- Unscrew the two screws.
- Pull the door towards you.
- Lift up the door.
- ZDST6CS Installation 4
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the door panel.
- Drill out the OEM speaker using a 5mm drill.
- Connect the speaker harness.
- ZDST6CS Installation 5
- Rivet the speaker in place using a rivet tool and 6x rivets.
- Connect the speaker connector.
- Reassemble the door in reverse.
- Remove the OEM tweeter.
- ZDST6CS Installation 6
- Remove the OEM tweeter.
- Mount the Phoenix Gold tweeter.
- Connect the tweeter speaker harness.
- Mount back the tweeter panel.

Remove tweeter panel

Disconnect tweeter connector

Tweeter connector disconnected
Tools required: -
Remove plastic panel

Unscrew the screw
-
Remove armrest
-
Remove the window switch panel
Tools required: -
Disconnect the connector

Unscrew the two screws
-
Pull the door towards you
-
Lift up the door
Tools required: -
Disconnect the connector
-
Door panel removed
-
Drill out the OEM speaker
-
Connect speaker harness
Tools required: -
Rivet the speaker in place

Connect the speaker connector
-
Reassemble the door in reverse
-
Remove OEM tweeter
-
OEM tweeter removed
-
Mount the Phoenix Gold tweeter
-
Connect tweeter speaker harness
-
Mount back the tweeter panel
