Product Usage Instructions

  1. REM / 12V / GND: Connect REM to a 12V+ switched source, 12V to a 12V constant source (1 amp in-line fuse is required), and GND to a chassis ground.
  2. GROUND ISOLATION: Turn the system off before switching this in normal selection. Alterative grounding options are provided to help in situations where alternator whine may appear in the system because the source unit and amplifier may use different grounds.
  3. OUTPUT GAIN CONTROL: This control adjusts the amount of signal you are sending through the RCA outputs to your amplifier(s). The Bass Cube 2.0 has a built-in line driver capable of sending 9 volts of signal output to your amplifier(s). Be sure to reference the amplifier gain control.
  4. CENTER FREQUENCY: Select the frequency you want the Bass Cube 2.0 bass restoration circuit to enhance.
  5. FREQUENCY BANDWIDTH: Adjust the range of frequencies from your center point. All the way to the left will include maximum frequencies to enhance, while all the way to the right will enhance only a limited amount of frequencies near your center frequency.
  6. RCA INPUT: For RCA cables, you will select unbalanced 99.99999% of the time. In rare occasions, some processors or ultra-high-end head-units will have balanced outputs. If you have one of these, you get to select balanced.
  7. INPUT: RCA’s from source unit.
  8. OUTPUT: RCA’s from the Bass Cube 2.0 connect to the inputs of your amplifier(s).
  9. REMOTE: The Bass Cube 2.0 digital bass enhancer dash mount control connects here. This remote allows for complete control of your audible subwoofer level along with an LED indicator which brightens as you increase bass enhancement.
