FLEX SEAL Flex Tape Super Strong Waterproof Tape
FLEX TAPE® is a super-strong, waterproof tape that can patch, bond, seal, and repair virtually anything. It’s specially formulated with a thick, flexible, rubberized backing that conforms to any shape or object. Unlike other tapes available, Flex Tape’s bond will increase with time and pressure. Perfect for a variety of surfaces and is perfect for use on cars, boats, RVs, homes, and more.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
- Patches, bonds, seals, and repairs virtually anything
- Conforms to any shape or object
- Creates a strong, flexible, watertight barrier
- Seals out water, air, and moisture instantly
- UV resistant
- Withstands extreme weather conditions
- Withstands normal hydrostatic water pressure
- Bond increases over time
- Can be top-coated with Flex Seal Spray and Flex Seal Spray, then can be painted with high-quality latex paint
TEMPERATURES
- Storage: 60° F to 100° F
- Application: 20° F to 120° F
- Withstands: -70° F to 200° F
HOW DO I USE IT?
- Clean surface free of grease, dirt, oil & algae
- Leave protective film on tape & cut to desired dimension
- Remove protective film from one corner of tape using thumbnail
- Apply firm pressure, smoothing out all air bubbles
- Wet surfaces require enough pressure to squeeze water away from bonding area
- Cut tape larger than hole, crack, tear, or gap
- Use utility knife
- Can be applied to hot or cold, wet or dry surfaces-even underwater
- Test on small area before use
- For fabrics, heat tape with hair dryer and/or use Flex Spray as primer for tape
- For swimming pools, clean surface, apply pressure, remove bubbles, apply to interior then exterior
NOT RECOMMENDED:
- Not designed to withstand extreme heat, pressure, or harsh chemicals
- Do not use to seal gas/oil tanks (flammable materials)
- Not tested for safe use with plants & animals
- Do not use on potable water containers
- Not tested for food safety
- Do not use on radiator hoses
- Do not use on tires
- Not designed for underfoot applications
- Not compatible with most paints (use Flex Seal Spray as primer before applying paint)
