Flex Paste Super Thick Rubberized Paste
FLEX PASTE® is a super-thick, rubberized paste that clings to surfaces and instantly fills large gaps, cracks, and holes. Once dry, FLEX PASTE turns into a strong, flexible, watertight barrier that seals out air, water, and moisture.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
- Clings, coats, seals & protects a variety of surfaces
- Can be applied to dry or wet surfaces
- Can be applied underwater and does not dissolve
- Creates watertight seal on windows & doors to help prevent floods & water damages
- UV, chemical & mildew resistant
- Expands & contracts, never shrinks or cracks
- Seals holes to keep pests out
- Can be pushed into hard-to-reach areas
- Can be painted, shaped, & molded
- Lasts for years, with proper application, care & maintenance
- Exposed product forms a skin within 15to 30 mins
- Product fully cures within 24 to 48 hours and gets stronger over time. Begins to cure once exposed to air, moisture, & humidity
TEMPERATURES
- Storage: 60° F to 100° F
- Apply to surfaces: 0° F to 150° F
- Withstands: -40° F to 200° F
HOW DO I USE IT?
- Surface must be free of grease, oil, & dirt
- Use a putty knife, trowel, or similar tool
- Remove a smooth even layer of paste from top of the tub
- Apply generous amount to a surface, using an even sweeping motion
- On wet surfaces use a generous amount & press firmly on the surface. Etching surface may help adhesion
- Allow 24 hours to cure between coats
- Uncured Paste can be cleaned with a dry cloth
- Denatured alcohol, mineral spirits or acetone can be used to aid in removing uncured Paste
- Always replace protective foil & silica gel packed. Secure lid tightly after each use
- Remove any cured pieces or skin that may have formed before reusing
- To increase shelf life, store in a cool dry, humidity-controlled environment
- Cured Flex Paste can be removed with strong/sharp tools (i.e., chisel). Surfaces may suffer damage
NOT RECOMMENDED:
- Not designed to withstand extreme heat, pressure, or harsh chemicals
- Do not use to seal gas/oil tanks (flammable materials)
- Not tested for safe use with plants & animals
- Do not use on potable water containers
- Not tested for food safety
- Do not mix cured product with fresh usable product
- Do not remove product in scoops from tub. Skim product off the top evenly
- Do not use water to clean uncured paste
- Sanding is not recommended

One Pound of Flex Paste provides about 10 linear ft at 2 inches wide with a layer thickness of approx. 1/16 inch.
