Product Information
The product complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules and has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirements. The device can be used in portable exposure condition without restriction. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful nterference to radio or television reception, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Product Usage Instructions
To use the product, follow these instructions:
- Ensure that the product is placed in a position that does not cause any interference to radio or television reception.
- If interference occurs, try reorienting or relocating the receiving antenna, increasing the separation between the equipment and receiver, or connecting the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- If interference persists, consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
- When using the product in a portable exposure condition, there are no restrictions on usage.
Bluetooth Pairing
- Step 1: Put the iPad case on and slide the keyboard switch to the On position. Hold down simultaneously and then the keyboard will enter pairing mode with a blinking blue indicator light.
- Step 2: On your iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth, turn on Bluetooth and then “Inateck KB04111” will show up in “Other Devices” .
- Step 3: Tap “Inateck KB04111” to pair it with your iPad. The Bluetooth indicator will go off in seconds which means that Bluetooth pairing is completed

Set Up Your iPad:
For better user experience, please follow steps below to set up your iPad at
first use once Bluetooth pairing is completed.
- Go to Settings > General > Trackpad and drag the slider to the middle of the tracking speed.
- Go to Settings > General > Trackpad and turn on “Tap to Click” and “Two Finger Secondary Click”
- Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch and turn off AssistiveTouch.
- Go to Settings > General > Gestures and enable the toggle for the “Four and Five Finger Swipe” setting.
Optional Settings
Steps to stop Caps Lock changing your keyboard language:
Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard and turn off Switch
Languages using Caps Lock.
Steps to disable the double tap period shortcut:
Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard and click the switch
to turn on 66 99 Shortcut.
Fix Bluetooth Pairing Problems:
- Step 1: Go to Settings > Bluetooth, find “Inateck KB04111” in My Devices and tap the info button i next to it, then tap “Forget This Device” . If there are multiple pairing records related to the keyboard, please clear all of them.
- Step 2: Hold simultaneously for 3 seconds and then the three indicators will blink for 3 times once the factory reset is completed.
- Step 3: Pair your Inateck KB04111 with your iPad
Multi-Touch Gestures
Adjust the Keyboard Backlight
- Hold simultaneously to adjust the backlight color. 7 colors are available in total.
- Hold simultaneously to adjust the backlight brightness. 3 levels are at your choice.

LED Indicator
Restore Factory Defaults
Hold simultaneously for 3 seconds and then the three indicators will blink for
3 times once the factory reset is completed.
Check Battery Level
Hold simultaneously to check the battery level according to the blinking
frequency of the red battery indicator.
charging
When the battery level is under 20%, the battery indicator will blink in red. Please recharge the keyboard in time. The recommended charging voltage and current are 5V and 250mA respectively. To recharge the keyboard, you can connect the included USB cable to the charger of your cellphone or the USB port of a computer. The keyboard will be fully charged in 2-3 hours. The indicator will stay in red when the keyboard is charging and turn green when it’s fully charged,
Sleep Mode
- When KB04111 is left idle for 1 minutes, the backlight will turn off.
- When KB04111 is left idle for 30 minutes, it will enter sleep mode and the Bluetooth connection will be disrupted. The connection can be rebuilt with a press of any key.
( Note: Tapping the trackpad cannot wake up the keyboard.
