BEMKO EL2-Q-008GR Valit Facade Luminaire
Product Information
The VALIT EL2-Q-008GR is an LED lighting fixture designed for both internal and external use. It is rated at 230V~ 50Hz and has a power consumption of 8W with a luminous flux output of 640lm or 680lm. The color temperature of the LED can be set to 3000K or 4000K and has a color rendering index (CRI) of 70. The fixture has a lifetime of 25000 hours and has an International Protection Rating of IP65 and protection against mechanical impacts up to IK08.
Product Usage
The VALIT EL2-Q-008GR LED lighting fixture can be used both indoors and outdoors. It is recommended that the maximum working time of the fixture should not exceed 12 hours per day. The installation of the fixture may require the assistance of a qualified person. The fixture should not be used with a dimmer switch, and the defective lamp cover should be replaced immediately. The minimum distance from the illuminated object should be maintained, and the fixture should not be used with cross and stairs connectors. It is recommended that the fixture be serviced by the manufacturer or their authorized representative only, and any replacement of LED modules should also be done by them. The fixture has an angle of illumination that can be adjusted to suit the requirement.

Security
Before mounting, read the instructions and disconnect the power supply. Installation of the luminaire should be performed by a qualified user authorized to mount electrical devices depending on the applicable regulations in a given country, in accordance with the mounting diagram. The cables should be isolated in accordance with the drawings – around 7mm. Select the diameter of the power cord to the size of the gland to maintain the correct IP rating (recommended cross-sectional: ø6 ÷ ø10). Modifications to the product may cause threat and loss of warranty.
Maintenance
All maintenance work should be carried out after disconnecting the power supply. The product temperature may rise to an elevated value. Before commencing maintenance, make sure that the product temperature is safe to make it. Guarantee unrestricted air supply, do not cover the product. Use dry and delicate materials for cleaning. The luminaires are not designed for cooperation with dimmers and automation elements that may have an impact on shortening the product’s service life. Do not use chemical agents. In order to extend the product life after max. 12 hours of continuous operation, it is recommended to switch it off to min. 2h. Product not adapted to work in an environment with unfavorable conditions, i.e. high dustiness/humidity, water, explosive zones, vibrations, and chemical fumes.

NOTE: The light source and control gear in this luminaire may only be replaced by the Manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person. Removal of light sources and control gear from the luminaire at the end of its service life is possible only at the BEMKO service.
