Product Information

This product comes with a 1-year warranty. To avail the warranty, customers need to fill in the warranty card and mail it to the company within 7 days from the date of purchase. The warranty card needs to contain the customer’s name and address, phone number, date of purchase, and dealer’s stamp and signature. Customers need to retain the warranty card.

Purifier Features

  • PRE-FILTER: The Pre-filter removes large particles such as dust, hair, pet dander and fibres.
  • LUNG FILTER: Removes dust particles which are holding harmful chemicals.
  • HEPA FILTER (HIGH EFFICIENCY PARTICULATE AIR): HEPA filter, full composite synthetic filter is capable of removing up to 99.99% of micro particles such as particulate matter (PM 2.5 & 10), fine dust, pollen and mould spores.
  • H1N1 FILTER WITH HEPA: Prevents dangerous H1 N1 Swine Flu. HEPA filter is full composite synthetic filter, capable of removing up to 99.99% of micro particles, such as particulate matter (PM 2.5 & 10), fine dust, pollen and mould spores.
  • ANTI-BACTERIAL FILTER: Anti-bacterial filter inhibits the growth of micro-organisms and prevents their breeding on filters.

  1. Take out filter from machine

    • Open the cover
    • Take out the filters
    • Remove all packaging material
  2. Install filter and front panel

    • Install filter 3 (Anti-bacterial+ HEPA compound filters)
      Note: Please make sure the tab side is facing you.

    • Install filter 2 (Activated carbon + Formaldehyde removal compound filters)
      Note: Please make sure the tab side is facing you.

    • Install filter 1 (Pre-filter)
      Note: Please make sure the handle side is facing you.

    • Install front plate

Control Overview

  1. Switch On: Touch the power button at standby mode. Machine will On last time in running mode. (Not including timer and sleep mode.)
    Machine will go into standby mode after the power button is pressed in running mode. It will record the current operation mode at the same time. Remark: The machine includes panel switch and anti-fall switch. Machine won’t turn On when panel is removed and machine falls down.

  2. Select the operating mode
    All buttons will get disabled when child lock is pressed. Icon will light up and keep running. Press this button for 3 seconds to exit this mode.

    • Ionizer will On/ Off when this button is pressed. The icon will light up and down accordingly. Motor will turn On and stay in low speed mode if you press this button at standby mode.

    • Press this button to set the working time. Everytime it increases by 30 minutes. It will be recycled after 12 hours. You can press for 3 seconds to exit this mode. The machine will go into standby mode and exit timer mode if you press this button but machine will not be in purifying mode. (Display panel will show 00:30 1 :00 1 :30 2:00 2:30 … )

    • EUREKA-FORBES-HPA-500-Air-Purifier-fig-17UV sterilize will On/ Off after pressing this button when machine is running. Icon will light up or down at the same time. Motor will be turned On and stay at low speed mode if you press this button at standby mode.

    • Press auto button on the control panel, to get machine into auto mode, ‘Auto’ indicator on the panel. Under this mode, according to the degree of air pollution, automatic
      will start working, air volume will automatically adjust. PM2.5<60 (Low speed),
      60:<=:PM2.5<150 (Medium speed), PM2.s;,,150 (High speed)

    • The display panel and light will turn Off when sleep mode starts. Motor only works at low speed. Timer is available at this mode. Machine will be at standby mode after the time setting is over. Press any button to exit sleep mode.

    • Press this button to adjust the motor speed at Low (500RPM), Medium (700RPM), High (900 RPM) and let the machine exit auto mode. The motor speed won’t be controlled by sensor if it’s modified without permission.

    • Press child lock for 5 seconds at normal working mode (child lock mode not started), it will show accumulated working time of the filter. It will disappear after 3 seconds.

    • When machine is running, it will turn into standby mode after this button is pressed.

Power Off: When machine is running, it will turn into standby mode after this button is pressed.

Function Descriptions

Remote Control
The product is equipped with remote control. Use the button cell in the remote control. (If the remote control is not in use for long time, please remove the battery). Note: The buttons on the remote control and the corresponding buttons on the operation panel are exactly the same, in functionality and operation.

Product Use

  • Intelligent operation: The machine under the status of the power supply is connected, press the power button, and the smart key, the machine can run under the sensor intelligent induction. The operation of the motor gear will follow sensors adjusted value. This operation can use the vast majority of applications.
  • Enforced running: The machine under the status of the power supply is connected. Press the power button, key selection can be done according to wind speed motor gear, to select On or Off negative ions and UV germicidal lamp. Complete the purification function, suitable for the operating manual intervention force purification applications. In this mode, machine can’t be automatically shifted.
  • The above two kinds of operating modes, when the purifier runs at night, the sleep button is automatically pressed. The purification process ensures that there is no noise which effects your rest.
  • Regular operation, the above three kinds of operation mode, simply press time, the setting of the machine running time, it will run the countdown, will stop running automatically after the times out. (If needs to cancel the timing, long press time for 3 seconds to cancel this function.)
  • Child lock mode, as long as you press the Child lock button, the control panel and buttons on the remote control won’t work. (Long press for 3 seconds to lift the lock, or press the unlock button on the remote control.)

Time Setting

  • Setting method: Long press the smart key for 5 seconds, time displays: ‘Hour’ digits flashing, press the speed key to add 1, press the sleep button to subtract 1, set ‘Hour’ and then click the smart key again, ‘Minutes’ digits begin flashing, press the speed button to add 1. Press sleep mode to subtract 1. (Press smart key back and forth for hours and wind speed. Press the wind speed and the sleep button to add or subtract set.)

Note:

  • The clock function of this machine is completely independent, time display function accurate or not, does not affect the purification.
  • The battery is powered by the circuit board of the machine. It will consume power in the case the machine is not plugged in. The battery is designed for at least 10 days standby time. After more than 10 days it runs out of power and the clock function automatically resets. You need to set the clock again. (Refer to the back of the clock setting process)

Installation Notice

Do not place on the following places:

  • Direct sunlight or facing outlet of air condition, heated place. (May cause deformation, deterioration, discoloration and malfunction)
  • Televisions, radios and other electronic equipment (Images and noise may get distorted.) To avoid disruption to television and radio, please place it more than 1m away.

In view of the pollen and other indoor dust, this product should be placed on the ground.

  • Pollen and dust easily fall on the floor, it is hence recommended that the product be placed on a flag ground in the room.

In order to make effective air circulation in the room.

  • There should be a gap of at least 20cm at both sides and back of the product, while 30cm from the top surface.

Do not place anything on the product (Otherwise, the product may malfunction)

  • Special Notice: Do not place magnets and metal objects on the product.

Do not block the air inlet and outlet.
For example, do not place anything on the outlet or front air inlet.EUREKA-

Safety Precautions

  1. Do not lift or move the machine when it is working. Never pull the cord while moving or storing, may cause a short circuit or damage the cord, resulting in fire or causing an accident of electric shock
  2. Do not damage the power cord or plug, do not cut, excessively twist, pull or reverse the power line. If the power cord is damaged, to avoid the danger, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, the maintenance department or professional staff.
  3. Do not use beyond the rated power, universal socket or connected devices. May cause the cord to overheat and cause fire accidents.
  4. Do not touch the power plug with wet hands, may cause electric shock.
  5. Do not let water, flammable detergent or other liquids into the product, may cause electric shock or fire.

  8. Do not use this product in a humid or high-temperature environment (e.g. bathrooms, toilets or kitchens)
  9. Do not allow children to have access to the remote control.
  10. Do not place in such a place:
    • Unstable places (Products may drop, overturn; resulting in injury, causing leakage, electric shock or fire accident)
    • High temperature, high humidity or place of wet machine, e.g. the bathroom.
    • Kitchen and other places of soot emission
  11. Do not use air purifier in Aromatherapy, scent or insecticide environment Chemical residues may accumulate in the machine, then released from the outlet and cause harm to health
    • After using insecticide, thoroughly ventilate the room before using air purifier.

Positioning of Air Purifier

  • Position the Aeroguard in such a way that the inlet & outlet air flow is not hindered
  • Always place the air purifier on a dry, levelled and horizontal surface
  • Make sure that there is at least 30 cm space around the air purifier
  • Do not place the device near sources of heat, such as heaters or ovens
  • Do not operate the device beneath a smoke detector
  • Do not operate the air purifier in a freshly painted room (wall not completely dried). It may discolour them and life of the filter will also get reduced
  • Do not place objects on top of the Aeroguard, which will hinder the performance of the purifier

Start-up of the Air Purifier

  • Open the unit and remove all packaging of the individual filters
  • Ensure that all filters / UV lamp are installed correctly. Please refer the instruction manual on maintenance
  • Plug the device into the electricity supply
  • Turn on the air purifier, it will start immediately and initiate purification process
  • When moving the unit, always ensure that the power cord is securely stowed in the cable compartment
    Note: Aeroguard functions best in an indoor environment, when the windows and doors are kept closed
  1. When the following occurs, please immediately turn off the power of the machine. (May cause electric shock, spark or smoke)
    • Abnormal sound or vibration during operation
    • Product odour, burnt smell
  2. Please regularly clean the power plug
    • Pullout the power plug, wipe with a dry cloth
    • If you are not going to use the electrical appliance for a long time, please pull out the power plug
  3. Before maintenance, make sure to disconnect the power
    • Product may suddenly start, causing electric shock and injury
  4. Please safely insert the plug into the socket
    • Do not use damaged plug or loose power socket
  5. Please hold the plug insulation parts to pull out power plug
    • Using the power cord to pull off the plug from the power cord, may damage the power cord, electric shock, short circuit fire disaster
  6. When any of the following occurs, please turn off the machine immediately and contact the maintenance department
    • A switch does not work
    • The power cord or plug get heated abnormally
    • Abnormal sound or vibration
    • Any anomalies or malfunctions
  7. Unprofessional people are not allowed to install or uninstall the machine.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Pre-filter (Every 15 days)
    • Please use the vacuum cleaner to clean the dust on the surface of the screen, or wash with water and dry throughly
  2. Cellular – Activated Carbon Filter (Every 2 months)
    • Use the vacuum cleaner to clean the dust on the surtace or the screen
    • Place the filter in a ventilated place. Don’t expose under the strong sunlight.
    • Do not hold the filter with force
    • Do not use water to clean the filter
  3. Antibacterial / HEPA Filter (Every 2 months)
    • Place the filter in a ventilated place. Do not expose under the strong sunlight
    • Do not use water to clean the filter
  4. Negative lon Generator
    • When you hear the machine making a creaking sound, use the brush pen as cleaning tool, regularly clean the dust around the negative ions

  6. With a dry cotton swab clean the lens regularly to remove the moisture and smoke
    • Remove the outer cover of particle sensor (fig 1, use the dry cotton swab to clean the lens (fig 2)
    • Please make sure to disconnect the power before cleaning
  7. Irradiate with light when it can’t see clearly

Tips
Make sure to disconnect the power before cleaning and maintenance

  • Do not open the machine when you remove the filter
  • Please unplug power if the machine is not in use for a long time
  • According the use, different places and methods, the filter life will be shortened. (e.g. A family with several smokers or a place with serious pollution). Please replace the filter in time

Replacing the Filters

  • A. Press the middle of front panel to dislodge the upper button out of its position.
  • B. Pull out the front panel.
  • C. Take out the filters one by one.

Recommendations:

  • Maintain No. 1 filter – every 15 days
  • Maintain No.2 and No.3 filters – every 60 days
  • Replace No. 1 filter – every 2 years
  • Replace No.2 & No.3 filters – every 6 months

Filter change reminder reset
The machine has filter change reminding function. It’s set at 1500 hours. Please replace No.2 and No. 3 filter when ‘change’ icon lights up. Also please press the child lock button for 5 seconds to reset this function.
