MC0522 – 500lb Cube Ice Machine

The MC0522 – 500lb Cube Ice Machine is designed for enhanced reliability and ease of use. The machine features intelligent sensor technology that maximizes efficiency and lowers operating costs. The AutoAlertTM panel displays relevant machine status that is visible across the room and now includes an external bin full indicator light and easier to read 16-segment display. The machine has a sanitary design with removable, external air filters that speed up the cleaning process and reduce unit footprint. The WaterSense Adaptive Purge optimizes water consumption, keeping the machine cleaner and operating more efficiently. The modular bin options include the B322S bin with a metallic finish and a capacity of 370lb/kg.

The MC0522 – 500lb Cube Ice Machine produces common ice form, ideal for mixed drinks, in small cube (7/8 x 7/8 x 3/8 inches) or medium cube (7/8 x 7/8 x 7/8 inches) sizes. The machine is available in air-cooled or water-cooled options with a 24-hour volume production of up to 480lb/kg for water cooled and 475/216 lb/kg for air cooled. The machine is certified to have been designed, engineered, and assembled in the USA and is certified to meet the 9001:2015 standards.

Product Usage Instructions

Place the MC0522 – 500lb Cube Ice Machine on a level surface in a well-ventilated area where the ambient temperature is between 50°F (10°C) and 100°F (38°C).
Connect the water inlet and drain to the appropriate fittings (3/8 FPT CONDENSER WATER INLET, 1/2 FPT CONDENSER DRAIN for
water-cooled and 3/8 FPT WATER INLET, 3/4 FPT DRAIN for air-cooled).
Connect the electrical supply to the machine using the .88 DIA ELECTRICAL ACCESS.
Choose the appropriate cube size (small or medium) and cooling option (air or water) based on your needs.
Turn on the machine and allow it to run for a few minutes before using it to produce ice.
Monitor the AutoAlertTM panel to ensure the machine is operating correctly and to check the bin full indicator light.
Clean the machine regularly by removing the external air filters and washing them with warm water and mild detergent.
Use the Ultrasonic Bin Level Sensor (optional) to precisely control ice levels or use the Basic Ice Level Control for dispenser applications.
For additional operational data and fast diagnosis, use the Smart-BoardTM Advanced Control or Smart-BoardTM Advanced Control with Network. Contact Scotsman for bin top requirements and any warranty issues.
