Product Usage Instructions

  1. Remove the bottom of the product.
  2. Connect the power and load.
  3. Cut the plastic cover to whatever shape you want to make different detection ranges.
  4. Set the time and LUX settings according to the instructions provided in the Installation Manual.
  5. The maximum detection distance is 20 meters.
  6. Switch on the power. If testing in daylight, turn LUX knob to (SUN) position, otherwise, the sensor lamp may not work. If the lamp is more than 60W, the distance between the lamp and sensorshould be 60cm at least.
  7. To activate Manual Override Function, follow the instructions provided in the Installation Manual.

Installation Manual

  1. Loosen the screw on the bottom and unload the bottom.
  2. Pass the power wire through the hole with gasket in the bottom. Connect the power wire into connection-wire column according to the connection-wire diagram.
  3. Fix the bottom with a screw on the selected position.
  4. Install back the sensor on the bottom, tighten the screw and then test it.
  5. Turn the TIME knob anti-clockwise on the minimum (10s). Turn the LUX knob clockwise on the maximum (sun).
  6. Switch on the power; the sensor and its connected lamp will have no signal at the beginning.
  7. Turn the LUX knob anti-clockwise on the minimum (3). If the ambient light is more than 3LUX, the Note: when testing in daylight, please turn LUX knob to (SUN) position, otherwise the sensor lamp could not work! If the lamp is more than 60W, the distance between lamp and sensor should be 60cm at least.

INSTALLATION MANUAL

  1. Loosen the screw on the bottom and unload the bottom (img.1).
  2. Pass the power wire through the hole with gasket in the bottom. Connect the power wire into connection-wire column according to the connection-wire diagram (img.2).
  3. Fix the bottom with a screw on the selected position (img.1).
  4. Install back the sensor on the bottom, tighten the screw and then test it.
  5. Turn the TIME knob anti-clockwise on the minimum (10s). Turn the LUX knob clockwise on the maximum (sun) (img.4.)
  6. Switch on the power; the sensor and its connected lamp will have no signal at the beginning. After Warm-up 30sec, the sensor can start work. If the sensor receives the induction signal, the lamp will turn on. While there is no another induction signal any more, the load should stop working within 10sec±3sec and the lamp would turn off.
  7. Turn LUX knob anti-clockwise on the minimum (3). If the ambient light is more than 3LUX, the sensor would not work and the lamp stop working too. If the ambient light is less than 3LUX (darkness), the sensor would work. Under no induction signal condition, the sensor should stop working within 10sec±3sec.
    Note : when testing in daylight, please turn LUX knob to (SUN) position, otherwise the sensor lamp could not work! If the lamp is more than 60W, the distance between lamp and sensor should be 60cm at least.
MANUAL OVERRIDE FUNCTION
  1. Sensor mode: Stay on
    Now switch wall switch OFF-ON, OFF-ON twice within 3seconds. The sensor will now hold your light ON continuously just likes a normal light.

  2. Stay on: Sensor mode
    (The following either method is ok)

  3.  Switch your wall switch OFF, then switch ON after 0.3seconds.

  4. If the light left ON (not change the sensor to sensor mode by hand), the sensor itself will also auto-matically return to the sensor mode after 8hours.

  2. Please check if the connection of power source and load is correct.

  6. Please check if there is any hindrance in front of the detector to affect it to receive the signals. 2.) Please check if the ambient temperature is too high.

  8. Please check if the installation height corresponds to the height required in the instruction. 5.) Please check if the moving orientation is correct.

INTENDED USE / APPLICATION
Product designed for the use in households and for other similar general applications.

MOUNTING

Technical changes reserved. Read the manual before mounting. Mounting should be performed by an appropriately qualified person. Any activities to be done with disconnected power supply. Exercise particular caution. Product has a protective contact/terminal. Failure to connect the protective lead may lead to electric shock. Mounting diagram: see pictures. Check for proper mechanical fastening and connection to electrical power prior to first use. The product can be connected to a supply network which meets energy quality standards as prescribed by law. To maintain the proper IP protection level, the right diameter of the power cable should be selected for the cable gland used in the product.

USAGE GUIDELINES / MAINTENANCE

Any maintenance work must be performed when the power supply is cut off and the product has cooled down. Clean only with soft and dry cloths. Do not use chemical detergents. Do not cover the product. Ensure free air access. Product may heat up to a higher temperature. Product can only be supplied by rated voltage or voltage within the range provided. It’s forbidden to use the product with damaged protective cover. Product must not be used in unfavourable conditions, e.g. dust, water, moisture, vibrations, explosive air atmosphere, fumes, or chemical fumes, etc. Non-demountable product. Not suitable for independent repairs.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Keep your environment clean. Segregation of post-packaging waste is recommended. This labelling indicates the requirement to selectively collect waste electronic and electrical equipment. Products labelled in this way must not be disposed of in the same way as other waste under the threat of a fine.
