  • in personnel kitchen zones at stores, offices and industrial facilities;
  • at agricultural farms;
  • by clients at hotels, motels and other residential facilities;
  • in private boarding houses.

PURPOSE OF THE APPLIANCE: for cooking by means of heating and with automatic control.

The CT-1499 Multicooker (Multivarka) is a versatile kitchen appliance that can be used for various cooking tasks such as boiling, frying, stewing, and baking. It comes with a range of pre-set cooking programs and customizable settings to suit your cooking needs.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the CT-1499 Multicooker (Multivarka), read the instruction manual carefully.
  2. Ensure that the multicooker is placed on a stable and heat-resistant surface.
  3. Connect the multicooker to a power source.
  4. Select the desired cooking program or customize the settings according to your recipe.
  5. Add the ingredients to the multicooker and close the lid securely.
  6. Press the start button to begin cooking.
  7. Once cooking is complete, allow the multicooker to cool down before opening the lid.
  8. Clean the multicooker after each use as per the instructions provided in the manual.

The CT-1499 Multicooker (Multivarka) comes with various cooking programs and customizable settings. The LED display provides information on the selected program, cooking time, and temperature. Some of the pre-set cooking programs include:

  • Boiling
  • Frying
  • Stewing
  • Baking

The CT-1499 Multicooker (Multivarka) has a capacity of up to 1800 ml and can cook at temperatures ranging from 35°C to 170°C. The cooking time can be set from 5 minutes to 12 hours, depending on the selected program and settings. Always follow the instructions provided in the manual for safe and efficient use of the CT-1499 Multicooker (Multivarka).

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The following requirements should be strictly observed in order to avoid situations hazardous for human life and health, as well as premature failures of the appliance:

  1. Use the appliance only for its intended purpose.
  2. Before first use, ensure that the power supply grid voltage corresponds to that indicated on the appliance.
  3. Do not pull the power cable if it touches sharp edges, is jammed by any objects or entangled.
  4. Do not route the power cable and do not place the device itself in locations with high humidity, on hot surfaces, near heating appliances or open flames.
  5. Do not cover the appliance with flammable objects, fabrics, etc.
  6. Use only the factory-supplied power cable.
  7. Ensure that the power cable and plug are dry and clean.
  8. Keep children away from the operating appliance.
  9. Do not use the appliance if:
    • the power cord is damaged;
    • the appliance has visible damage;
    • the appliance has been dropped;
    • the appliance has been exposed to moisture.
  10. The appliance should not be used by physically, sensory or mentally handicapped persons (including children) or by persons without sufficient experience or knowledge, unless such persons are under supervision, or have been instructed on the use of the appliance, by the persons responsible for their safety.
  11. Do not pull or carry the appliance by its power cord.
  12. Always disconnect the appliance from power supply before maintenance or if the appliance is malfunctioning.
  13. Do not disconnect the appliance from power supply by pulling on the power cable; do not pull the plug with wet hands.
  14. In case of damage to the power cable or any other part of the appliance immediately disconnect the appliance from power supply and apply to the Manufacturer’s service centre. In case of unskilled intervention into the appliance or non-observance of the operating requirements listed in the present manual the warranty becomes void.
  15. Use the appliance only with the proper connector.
  16. The appliance is not designed to be powered from an external timer or other separate remote control system.

Accessible surfaces of the appliance can reach high temperature during operation. The surface of the heating element remains hot for some time after the appliance is turned off.

OPERATING PROCEDURE

BASIC OPERATION

  • Before connecting the unit to power supply, ensure that your hands are absolutely dry. Ensure that the power supply grid voltage corresponds to the one indicated in the specifications or on the data plate of the appliance before connecting it to power supply. If you need to use an extension cable make sure that it has the power rating sufficient for the unit’s power consumption. A voltage difference can cause a short circuit and cable ignition.
  • If you want to disconnect the unit from power supply pull the plug with dry hands, do not pull on the cable as this may cause cable damage or electric shock. Disconnect the unit from the power socket after use, as well as before cleaning or transfer.
  • Do not route the cable over sharp edges, near heat sources (gas and electric cookers). This can cause malfunctions incompliant with the guarantee terms.
  • Ensure that the power cable is not twisted or does not hang from the edge of the table. Set the appliance only on a dry and smooth surface. Observe general safety rules when operating the appliance.
  • Do not let children play with the appliance and its packaging.
  • Do not leave children alone near the operating appliance. Keep the appliance out of reach of children. Do not leave the operating appliance unattended.
  • The use of the appliance outdoors is not allowed.

OPERATING THE APPLIANCE
Place the multi cooker on a smooth level surface. Ensure that the hot steam discharged during operation does not impact furniture, home appliances, walls, etc. Before using the multi cooker, ensure that its internal and external surfaces are clean; there should be no foreign objects between the bowl and the heating element.

STANDARD OPERATIONS

  1. Plug the power cable into an electric socket.
  2. Hold down the “Menu” button for fast switching, until the desired program is highlighted on the display (each pressing of the “Menu” button selects the next program; you can also use the “-“ and “+” buttons to navigate), the basic time and temperature settings will appear on the display.
  3. Hold down the “Start” button for 2 seconds to confirm the selected program and start operation. After program start the time countdown will appear on the display.
  4. When the cooling is over an audio signal will be emitted and the multi cooker will automatically enter the “Warming” mode (except for the “Yoghurt” program) to keep the dish in the warm state, the warming mode time count will be shown on the display. In order to turn off the warming or to cancel the selected function or program press and hold the “Warming/Cancel” button for 2 seconds. Press and hold the “Warming/ Cancel” button for 2 seconds to activate the warming mode.

SETTING THE COOKING TIME

  1. Select the desired program. The default cooking time will be shown on the display.
  2. Press the “Set/Temperature” button once to adjust the cooking time for each selected program.
  3. Press the “+” or “-” button to increase or decrease the cooking time.
  4. Press and hold the “Start” button for 2 seconds to confirm program selection and start the cooking process. After startup the cooking time countdown will be displayed.

SETTING THE COOKING TEMPERATURE

  1. Select the desired program. The default cooking time will be shown on the display.
  2. Press the “Set/Temperature” button twice to adjust the cooking temperature in the selected program (except for the “Heating” and “Warming” programs).
  3. Press the “+” or “-” button to increase or decrease the cooking temperature.
  4. Press and hold the “Start” button for 2 seconds to confirm program selection and start the cooking process. After startup the cooking time countdown will be displayed.

SETTING THE START DELAY

  1. Select the desired program. The default cooking time will be shown on the display.
  2. Press the “Set/Temperature” button three times to set the cooking program start delay. The default delay time is 30 minutes.
    Note: The “Deep-Frying”, “Pasta”, “Heating”, “Warming” and “Frying” programs do not support the delayed start function.

“MULTICOOK”
The “Multicook” program is used for cooking practically any dishes with the temperature and time parameters set by the User. You can manually set the cooking time from 2 minutes to 15 hours. By default the cooking time in the “Multicook” program is 30 minutes. The temperature in the program can be set within 35-170 °С in 5 °С increments.

MAINTENANCE

CLEANING THE HOUSING AND BOWL

  • Clean the housing and inner bowl of the appliance as necessary, using warm water and soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents and dishwashing detergents.
  • Thoroughly clean the bowl each time after use. Use soft dishwashing detergents. Do not wash the bowl in a dishwasher. Do not use abrasive detergents, stiff brushes and cleaning scrubs for cleaning the bowl, in order to preserve its coating. Wipe the bowl dry after washing.

DISPOSAL

Upon expiry of its service life the appliance can be disposed of separately from ordinary domestic waste. You can turn it over to a specialized electric and electronic appliance disposal and recycling centre.

The service life of this item is 5 years since the date of sale to the end user, provided the item will be used in strict accordance with the present manual and the applicable technical standards. Upon expiry of the service life please contact the nearest authorized service centre for suggestions as to further operation of the appliance. The manufacturing date of the appliance is integrated into the serial number (digits 2 and 3 – year, digits 4 and 5 – month of manufacture). The guarantee period for all appliances amounts to 12 months from the date of sale to the end consumer. With this Warranty Card the Manufacturer confirms the proper condition of the appliance and undertakes to repair, free of charge, all defects caused by the Manufacturer’s default.

GUARANTEE MAINTENANCE TERMS

  1. The guarantee shal l be val i d i f the fol l owi ng documentati on condi ti ons are observed:
    • The original Warranty Card shall be filled out correctly and clearly, indicating the of appliance model, serial number and sale date, the stamp of the seller company and signature of its representative shall be available, as well as the stamps on each coupon and the buyer’s signature in the Warranty Card.
    • The Manufacturer reserves the right to reject guarantee maintenance if the buyer fails to provide the abovementioned documents or if the information contained therein is incomplete, illegible or ambiguous.
  2. The guarantee shall be valid if the following operation conditions are observed:
    • the appliance is used in strict accordance with the present manual;
    • the safety rules and requirements are observed.
  3. The guarantee does not apply to regular maintenance, cleaning, installation and setup of the appliance at the owner’s location.
  4. The guarantee does not apply in the following cases:
    • mechanical damage;
    • normal wear of the appliance;
    • non-observance of operation requirements or erroneous actions on the part of the user;
    • improper installation or transportation;
    • natural disasters (lightning, fire, flood, etc.), as well as any other causes beyond the Manufacturer’s or Seller’s control;
    • ingress of foreign objects, liquids or insects into the inside of the appliance;
    • repairs or modifications to the appliance by unauthorized persons;
    • use of the appliance for commercial purposes (loads exceeding normal domestic application), connection of the appliance to utility and telecommunication networks incompliant with national technical standards;
    • failure of the following accessories, if replacement of these is allowed by design and does not involve disassembly of the appliance:
    • a) remote control units, rechargeable batteries, replaceable batteries (power cells), external power supply units and chargers;
    • b) consumables and accessories (packaging, covers, slings, carry bags, mesh screens, blades, flasks, plates, supports, grilles, spits, hoses, tubes, brushes, nozzles, dust collectors, filters, smell absorbers);
    • for battery-powered appliances – operation with inappropriate or depleted batteries;
    • for rechargeable battery-powered appliances – any damage caused by improper battery charging and recharging.
  5. The present guarantee is provided by the Manufacturer in addition to the consumer rights determined by the applicable legislation and does not limit these rights in any way.
  6. The Manufacturer shall not be made liable for possible damage, directly or indirectly inflicted by CENTEK brand products on people, domestic animals, the consumer’s or third persons’ property if such damage is inflicted as the result of non-observance of appliance installation and operation requirements, deliberate or negligent actions (omission) by the consumer or third persons, as well as of force majeure circumstances.
  7. Service centers will only accept appliances in a clean state (there should be no food residues, dust and other contamination on the appliance).

The Manufacturer reserves the right to change the design and specifications of the appliance without prior notice.
