WARNING

BASSINET WARNINGS:
Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.

WARNING FALL HAZARD: To help
prevent falls, do not use this product when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached the height of 30 in. (762 mm), weight of 20 lb. (9 kg) or 5 months old, whichever comes first.

  • ALWAYS check that the bassinet is securely locked on before each use.
  • The child’s activity can move the bassinet. NEVER place bassinet on countertops, tables, or any other elevated surface. Only use on level ground.

SUFFOCATION HAZARD:

Infants have suffocated:

  • In gaps between extra padding and side of the bassinet, and on soft bedding, use only the pad provided by Baby Trend®. NEVER add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress for padding.
  • Strings can cause strangulation! DO NOT place items with a string around a child’s neck such as hood strings or pacifier cords. DO NOT suspend strings over the bassinet or attach strings to toys.
  • NEVER use plastic shipping bags or another plastic film as mattress covers not sold and intended for that purpose. They can cause suffocation.
  • NEVER place a child under the bassinet.
  • The bassinet must be fully assembled and installed before use.
  • The bassinet, including side rails, must be fully erected prior to use. Make sure each latch is secure.
  • Discontinue use of the bassinet when child begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached the height of 30 in. (762 mm), the weight of 20 lb. (9 kg) or 5 months old, whichever comes first.
  • Only one child can use the bassinet at any time.
  • To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep unless otherwise advised by your physician.
  • ALWAYS place the child on back to sleep.
  • ALWAYS provide the supervision necessary for the continued safety of your child. NEVER leave children unattended.
  • If a sheet is used with the mattress/pad, use only the one provided by Baby Trend® or one specifically designed to fit the dimension of the bassinet mattress.
  • Children can become entrapped and die when improvised netting or covers are placed on top of a bassinet. Never add such items to confine the child in the bassinet.
  • Possible entanglement injury. Keep out of the baby’s reach. Remove toy when baby begins to push up on hands and knees. Recommended use from birth to 5 months. The canopy is not designed to be used to as a carry handle.

SUFFOCATION WARNING!
Children could suffocate on a canopy if placed inside the bassinet. NEVER leave canopy loose or partially attached. Always follow the instructions and keep out of reach of children when not in use.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:

To clean use only mild household soap or detergent and warm water on a sponge or clean cloth.

  • DO NOT USE BLEACH.
  • HANG TO DRY.
  • DO NOT WASH.
  • DO NOT IRON.
  • DO NOT DRY CLEAN.
  • DO NOT MACHINE WASH.

PARTS

ASSEMBLY

IMPORTANT!

  • To ensure safe operation of your product, please follow these instructions carefully. Please keep these instructions for future reference.
  • Before assembly and each use, inspect this product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts or sharp edges. NEVER use if any parts are missing or broken.
  • Adult assembly is required.
TO ASSEMBLE BASSINET

ATTENTION:
The bassinet must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using other accessories.

  • Flip open the fabric of the bassinet to locate the upper leg frames.
  • Push in the leg frames to the bassinet to their corresponding slots until it fits securely (Fig. 1a). Repeat for the other side.
  • Once all 4 leg frames are attached, button the fabric on each side of the bassinet (Fig. 1b).
  • On the long side of the bassinet, insert the mattress support bar into the slot located behind each leg frame (Fig. 2). Push in until its secure.baby-trend-BA05XXXB-Lil-Snooze-Large-Bassinet-Plus-fig-5
    NOTE: Repeat for the other side.
MATTRESS
  • Insert the mattress into the bassinet (Fig. 3).
    NOTE: Press down on the mattress to be sure it is securely attached.
TO ASSEMBLE CANOPY
  • Snap the (2) buttons of the canopy, onto the short rail of the bassinet (Fig. 4a). NOTE: Gently stretch the fabric over the bassinet frame.
  • To attach the canopy to the bassinet push the (2) clips onto the longer side rails (Fig. 4b).

TO REMOVE CANOPY

  • Unsnap the (2) buttons and remove the fabric (Fig. 5a).
  • Pull off each clip from the bassinet (Fig. 5b). Gather the canopy together and store it away (Fig. 5c).
MUSIC CENTER

WARNING:
Keep batteries out of children’s reach. Old and new batteries should not be mixed. Alkaline, standard carbon-zinc and rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries should not be mixed. Remove batteries before storing the music center for a long period of time.

  • The Music Center is designed to be attached to the playard’s/bassinet’s long rail (Fig. 6).

Music Operation

  • The Music Center requires 4 AA batteries. Please see figure 7 for battery installation. Unscrew the battery door screws and pull outward on the bat-tery door. Install batteries as shown. Re-install the battery door and secure with screws.

  • To listen to MUSIC, press the MUSIC button. Press the button to change the song.

  • MUSIC

  • To listen to NATURE sounds, press the NATURE button. Press the button to change the sound.

  • NATURE SOUNDS

  • To listen to SLEEP music, press the SLEEP button. Press the button to change the song.

  • SLEEP MUSIC

  • These 2 buttons control the unit’s volume.

  • VOLUME CONTROL

  • VIBRATION

  • NIGHT LIGHT: To use the night light, press the NIGHT LIGHT button.

  • NIGHT LIGHT

TO REMOVE THE MATTRESS
  • Remove the mattress by pulling it out of the bassinet completely (Fig. 8).

DISASSEMBLING THE BASSINET

  • To disassemble the mattress support bar, push into the button in order to release the bar (Fig. 9). NOTE: Repeat for the other side.
  • Unbutton the fabric and locate the upper leg frames (Fig. 10a). Viewing from the back side
  • Locate the buttons behind the leg frames, and press the buttons (Fig. 10b).
  • Release the leg frames from the bassinet completely (Fig. 10c). NOTE: Repeat for the other side of the bassinet.

Any product which has been subjected to misuse, abuse, abnormal use, excessive wear and tear, improper assembly, negligence, environmental exposure, alteration or accident, or has had its serial number altered or removed invalidates all claims against the manufacturer. Any damage to property during installation is the sole responsibility of the end user.
