SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before using this electrical appliance, read the instructions below carefully and keep the user manual for future reference:

Before connecting the appliance to a wall socket, check that the local power supply matches the one indicated on the rating plate of the appliance.
The appliance must only be powered with a very low safety voltage matching the markings on the appliance.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
This appliance is intended for domestic use only. No other (professional) use is permitted.
Electrical and electronic products must be collected separately. Do not dispose of waste electrical and electronic products with unsorted municipal waste, but collect them separately. Systems and collection sites (sorting centres, waste disposal centres) are made available to you by local authorities and distributors.
By entrusting your product at the end of its life to the proper recycling process, you help protect the environment and your health.
Unplug the power cord from the power source as soon as you stop using it and before moving, cleaning or servicing it.
Do not remove the fan guards for cleaning or maintenance.
Do not immerse the appliance, the power cable or plug in water or any other liquid.
Caution: Do not use the appliance near bathtubs, showers, washbasins or other vessels containing water.

If the appliance falls into water, have it checked by a qualified professional before turning it on again.

This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or by a separate remote control system.
Do not cover the product.
The appliance must be used and placed on a flat surface.
Do not turn over the appliance when it is being operated.
WARNING: Do not block air vents inside the appliance.
CAUTION: An improper use of the appliance could present safety hazards and cause injury.
CAUTION: Avoid touching moving parts. Never insert your fingers, any other parts of your body or any object through the fan grille.
This appliance is intended for home use and for use in similar environments such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
-farm houses;
-by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
-bed and breakfast type environments.
This appliance is not suitable for use outside.
The power cord should be periodically inspected for signs of damage, and the appliance should not be used if the cord is damaged.
Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is running.
CAUTION: Assemble the fan completely before turning it on.

Use this appliance only in temperate latitudes. Do not use it in tropical climates, especially in humid climates.
Do not expose this appliance to direct sunlight.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
The appliance is only to be used with the power supply unit provided with the appliance.

INSTALLATION

Place the fan on a horizontal, non-slippery, dry, clean surface. Make sure that the appliance is stable.
Plug the USB connector (5) into your computer USB port or into the supplied AC adapter (8). When using the AC adapter, connect the appliance only to a power supply with the appropriate specification.

USE

The On/Off switch (7) is used for switching on or off the appliance.
0: The fan is switched off, I: The fan runs at the slowest speed.
The fan can be tilted to adjust the airflow direction.

Caution:

Always choose a suitable place for a fan and follow the safety tips described in this manual.
If you place the fan on a table or a shelf, make sure that the power cord does not hang in a place.where it could be pulled off and inadvertently cause the appliance to drop.
Do not attach or attach the fan to a wall or a ceiling.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
Clean the appliance with a soft, dust-free cloth.
You can use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and lint stuck in the air vents.
Never use abrasive cleaners. Avoid contact with acidic substances.
Store the appliance away from dust and frost.

GUARANTEES

Guarantees and limitations of liability
Products are guaranteed for a period of 36 months from the date of purchase, or from the date of delivery to the customer’s home. Depending on the country, this guarantee consists of 24 to 36 months of validity for the legal compliance guarantee.
For countries that only implement a 24-month legal compliance guarantee, a 12-month commercial guarantee is applied at the end of the first guarantee, and supplements it.

Please consult your retailer for information and/or to refer to their GTCs (General Terms and Conditions of Sale).
For the commercial guarantee
Please go to the reception desk at your place of purchase with your proof of purchase (e.g. sales receipt), the product and the accessories it came with, and its original packaging, for all countries other than France. It is important to have the date of purchase, the model and the serial number or IMEI number to hand (this information is usually indicated on the product, packaging, or on your proof of purchase). You’ll need to bring back the product with the accessories needed for its correct functioning (power supply, adapter, etc.). If your claim is covered by the guarantee, the after- sales service may, within the limits of local law, either:

Repair or replace faulty parts.
Exchange the returned product with a product that has, at the least, the same features and that offers equivalent performances.
Refund the product at the price stated on the proof of purchase.
Repaired or replaced products may include new and/or re conditioned hardware and components.

Commercial guarantee exclusions:

Damages or problems caused by improper use, accident, tampering/modification or an unsuitable current or voltage connection.
Use or storage conditions which are detrimental to the good conservation of the appliance (oxidation,corrosion), use of energy, use or installation non-compliant with the manufacturer’s instructions, or negligence or use of peripherals, software or consumables which are unsuitable.
Professional or collective, industrial or commercial use of the product.
Products that have been modified, or which have damaged, altered, erased or oxidised guarantee seals or serial numbers.
Replaceable batteries and accessories are guaranteed for 6 months.
Battery failure, caused by overcharging or by failure to follow the safety instructions set out in the manual.
Cosmetic damage, including scratches, bumps or vandalism.
Damage caused by any servicing operations carried out by non-authorised persons.
Faults caused by normal wear and tear or the normal ageing of the product: seals, filters, accessories,
vacuum cleaner brush and hose, lamps, overhead projector lamps, washing machine paddles, etc.
Software updates as a consequence of changes to network settings.
Damage caused by elements external to the appliance (foreign bodies, insects, etc.).
The contents of the devices – freezer, washing machine, etc. (food, clothing, etc.)
Product failure caused by the use of third-party software to modify, change, adapt or alter the product as is.
Product failure resulting from its use without the accessories supplied with the product or approved by the Manufacturer.
Parts for normal wear and tear or damage from use: tyre, inner tube, brake, etc.

The customer is responsible for regularly backing up the data contained on their hard disk or in the internal memory of their device, and this before any claim is submitted.
Auchan cannot be held liable for the loss or destruction of stored data, nor may it be held liable for damage caused to software resulting from, in particular, a restoration or a breakdown.
Similarly, Auchan is not required to check that SIM/SD cards have been removed from returned products.
Under no circumstances shall the provisions set out above reduce or eliminate: the legal guarantee referred to above, and the manufacturer’s commercial guarantee, if applicable (see guarantee form).
