To Use

WARNING: Sharp blades, do not place hands in or near the hopper while the motor is running.
NOTICE: Do not remove any permanent instruction labels or the data labels on your appliance.

Before using this equipment, it must be cleaned and dried thoroughly. Clean all surfaces before use. Failure to clean surfaces before using the unit could cause food contamination.

This ice crusher is intended for crushing ice cubes for use with cocktails, oyster platters, or other bar necessities; ice cubes should be a maximum of 2 inches in diameter. Larger pieces should be broken up before processing through the machine. Your Ice crusher machine can produce up to 10 lb. of ice per hour.

  1. Place the ice crusher on a level surface and in a place where it cannot be pushed off the counter.

    • Keep the area at the front of the unit clear for unobstructed access during operation.
  2. Make sure the handle is lifted and the main switch is turned OFF before plugging into an outlet.
WARNING: Never allow any foreign or metallic objects around the shaver area or inside the hopper. Ice picks, scoops, and debris can damage the blade, cause harm, and may result in food contamination.

  3. Lift the handle and load the horn with ice cubes. Do not overfill.

    • Allow the ice cubes to temper for at least 5-10 minutes for best results. We do not recommend using ice straight from the freezer.
  4. Depress the handle to push the ice cubes through the blade. Crushed ice will come out the bottom of the chute into the stainless-steel catch tray.
NOTICE: This unit is fitted with a safety micro-switch. When the handle is raised, the machine will not work. The handle must be depressed for the motor to work.

  5. Once desired amount of ice is crushed, please turn OFF the machine using the main switch.

  6. Repeat steps 3-4 for multiple batches.
