SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before using this electrical appliance, carefully read these instructions and keep the user manual for future reference:

Before connecting the appliance to a wall socket, ensure that the local electrical current matches the one specified on the appliance’s nameplate. This appliance should only be connected to a grounded socket.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

This appliance is for indoor use only. Any other use (professional) is excluded.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

The mains cable should be regularly examined for damage or deterioration. Do not use the appliance if the mains cable is found to be damaged.

INSTALLATION
- First, loosen and remove the base screw and washer from the lower tube. Then secure the lower tube on the round base by the base screw and washer.
- Slide the upper tube over the lower Tube and tighten the Set Screw. Makerere the Set Screw is tightly secured.
- Slide the Switch Box down over the Upper Tube and tighten the Set Screw. Make sure the Set Screw is tightly secured.
- Position the Rear Grille against the front of the motor housing, ensuring that the locating pegs on the motor housing are engaged correctly in the narrowholes on the Rear Grille.
- Replace and tighten the Plastic Mounting Nut clockwise. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!
- Push the Fan Blade onto the Motor Shaft, locating the slot on the back of the Fan Blade on to the drive pin that passes through the Motor Shaft.
- Tighten the Blade Cap by turning it anticlockwise.
- Position the Front Grille against the Rear Grille so that the slot in the rims can fit the Rear Grille. rotate the front Grille anticlockwise approx. 1.5cm, and fixthe safety screw, drawing refer as below:
- The fan can be transformed from stand fan to table fan by removing the upper tube. Then Slide the Switch Box down over the Lower Tube and tighten the Set Screw. Make sure the Set Screw is tightly secured.
OPERATION
Turn the speed and oscillation control knob to your desired setting:
- Speed 0 : no ventilation
- Speed : low ventilation, oscillating function
- Speed : medium ventilation, oscillating function
- Speed : high ventilation, oscillating function
MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
Clean the appliance with a soft, dust-proof cloth.
You can use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and lint trapped in the
ventilation grilles.
Never use harsh cleaning products. Prevent the appliance from coming into
contact with acidic substances.
Store away from dust and freezing temperatures.
GUARANTEES
Guarantees and limitations of liability
Products are guaranteed for a period of 36 months from the date of purchase,
or from the date of delivery to the customer’s home. Depending on the country,
this guarantee consists of 24 to 36 months of validity for the legal
compliance guarantee.
For countries that only implement a 24-month legal compliance guarantee, a
12-month commercial guarantee is applied at the end of the first guarantee,
and supplements it.
Guarantee application procedure
For the legal compliance guarantee
Please consult your retailer for information and/or to refer to their GTCs
(General Terms and Conditions of Sale).
For the commercial guarantee
Please go to the reception desk at your place of purchase with your proof of
purchase (e.g. sales receipt), the product and the accessories it came with,
and its original packaging, for all countries other than France. It is
important to have the date of purchase, the model and the serial number or
IMEI number to hand (this information is usually indicated on the product,
packaging, or on your proof of purchase).
You’ll need to bring back the product with the accessories needed for its
correct functioning (power supply, adapter, etc.). If your claim is covered by
the guarantee, the after- sales service may, within the limits of local law,
either:
- Repair or replace faulty parts.
- Exchange the returned product with a product that has, at the least, the same features and that offers equivalent performances.
- Refund the product at the price stated on the proof of purchase. Repaired or replaced products may include new and/or re conditioned hardware and components.
Commercial guarantee exclusions:
- Damages or problems caused by improper use, accident, tampering/modification or an unsuitable current or voltage connection.
- Use or storage conditions which are detrimental to the good conservation of the appliance (oxidation, corrosion), use of energy, use or installation non-compliant with the manufacturer’s instructions, or negligence or use of peripherals, software or consumables which are unsuitable.
- Professional or collective, industrial or commercial use of the product.
- Products that have been modified, or which have damaged, altered, erased or oxidized guarantee seals or serial numbers.
- Replaceable batteries and accessories are guaranteed for 6 months.
- Battery failure, caused by overcharging or by failure to follow the safety instructions set out in the manual.
- Cosmetic damage, including scratches, bumps or vandalism.
- Damage caused by any servicing operations carried out by nonauthorized persons.
- Faults caused by normal wear and tear or the normal ageing of the product: seals, filters, accessories,
- vacuum cleaner brush and hose, lamps, overhead projector lamps, washing machine paddles, etc.
- Software updates as a consequence of changes to network settings.
- Damage caused by elements external to the appliance (foreign bodies, insects, etc.).
- The contents of the devices – freezer, washing machine, etc. (food, clothing, etc.)
- Product failure caused by the use of third-party software to modify, change, adapt or alter the product as is.
- Product failure resulting from its use without the accessories supplied with the product or approved by the Manufacturer.
- Parts for normal wear and tear or damage from use: tyre, inner tube, brake, etc.
The customer is responsible for regularly backing up the data contained on
their hard disk or in the internal memory of their device, and this before any
claim is submitted. Auchan cannot be held liable for the loss or destruction
of stored data, nor may it be held liable for damage caused to software
resulting from, in particular, a restoration or a breakdown. Similarly, Auchan
is not required to check that SIM/SD cards have been removed from returned
products.
Under no circumstances shall the provisions set out above reduce or eliminate:
the legal guarantee referred to
above, and the manufacturer’s commercial guarantee, if applicable (see
guarantee form).
