- If using this product with an extension lead do not exceed the maximum rated wattage of the extension lead.
- Do not use this product in bathrooms or wet room environments/locations.
- The product shall not be installed in a laundry room.
- The product must not be used in closed cupboards or changing rooms. Do not cover the product with clothing or any other fabric.
- The product must be kept at a suitable distance from walls, furniture and curtains to prevent them from overheating due to poor ventilation.
- The product should not be used when no one is at home. If you are away for long periods of time, turn off the power and remove the plug from the socket.
- An adult must carry out battery replacement and installation.
- Remove exhausted batteries from this product.
- Do not dispose of batteries in a fire, batteries may explode or leak.
- Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
- Do not mix used and new batteries.

- Always transport your appliance in a vertical position and place on a stable, level surface during use. If the unit is transported lying on its side it should be stood up and left unplugged for 6 hours.
- Always use the switch on the control panel or remote control to turn the unit off, and do not start or stop operation by plugging in or unplugging the power cord. It can result in the risk of electric shock.
- Do not touch the buttons on the control panel with your wet and damp fingers.
- Keep the unit away from hazardous chemicals. To prevent damage to the surface finish, use only a soft cloth to clean the appliance. Do not use wax, thinner, or a strong detergent. Do not use the unit in the presence of flammable substance or vapour such as alcohol, insecticides, gasoline, etc.
- Do not clean the unit with water. Water can enter the unit and damage the insulation, creating a shock hazard. If water enters the unit, unplug it immediately and contact Customer Service.

- To avoid possible cuts, avoid contacting the metal parts of the appliance when removing or re-installing the filter. It can result in the risk of personal injury.
- Always grasp the plug when plugging in or unplugging the appliance. Never unplug by pulling on the cord. It can result in the risk of electrical shock and damage.
- Close all doors and windows to the room for most efficient operation.
- Do not obstruct the air intake and outlet. Leave the grilles free.

INSTALLATION
- Unpack all parts.
- Check for completeness and shipping damage immediately after unpacking. If your shipment is damaged or incomplete, please contact our customer service.
- Insert 2 AAA 1.5 V batteries into the remote control, make sure the battery polarity is correct.
Select the location
- The air conditioner should be placed on a firm foundation to minimize noise and vibration.
- The air conditioner should be placed near a window to assemble the exhaust hose.
- For safe and secure positioning, place the air conditioner on a smooth, level floor strong enough to support it.
- The air conditioner has castors to aid placement, but it should only be rolled on smooth, flat surfaces. Use caution when rolling on carpeted surfaces or wood floors.
- The air conditioner must be placed within reach of a properly rated grounded socket.
- Never place any obstacles around the air inlets or outlets of the air conditioner and do not cover the appliances’ intakes and outlets.
- Allow at least 45cm of around and above space away from the wall for efficient working.
- The hose can be extended, but it is the best to keep the length to minimum required. Also make sure that the hose does not have any sharp bends or sags.
Install the exhaust hose
In the cool mode the air conditioner must be placed close to a window or
opening so that the warm exhaust air can be discharged outside.

First position the air conditioner on a flat floor and make sure there’s a minimum of 17.7” (45cm) clearance around the unit, and is within the vicinity of a power source.

Extend either side of the exhaust hose and connect the hose inlet and hose outlet to the two ends of the exhaust hose.

Slide the hose inlet into the air conditioner.
Install the window slider kit

Check your windows’ size and choose a fitting window slider.

Depending on the size of your window, adjust the size of the window slider. Make sure there is no gap between the window and the window slider. Depend on the shape of your window, select to assemble the window slider vertically or horizontally.

Assembly:
Slide Panel B into Panel A and size to widow width. Windows sizes vary. With the width that your window requires to ensure that there are no gaps or air pockets in the window kit assembly after installation. -

Notes:
- The window slider kit has been designed to fit most standard vertical and horizontal window applications, however, it may be necessary for you to modify some aspects of the installation procedures for certain types of windows. The window slider kit can be fastened with screws.
- If the window opening is less than the minimum length of the window slider kit, cut the end without the hole in it short enough to fit in the window opening.
Never cut out the hole in the window slider kit.
Insert the exhaust hose through the window slider hole
Affix the exhaust hose outlet into the window slider and seal them tightly.
USE
The appliance can be controlled with the control panel or with the remote control. On the following pages, operation is mainly described when using the remote control.
- Plug the air conditioner to an outlet, the appliance goes into standby mode.
- Press the button to turn on the air conditioner.
- Never turn the air conditioner off by unplugging from the mains. Always press the button, then wait for a few minutes before unplugging. This allows the appliance to perform a cycle of checks to verify operation.
Notes:
- To ensure the receiving effect, the remote control must be no more than 7 meters away from the air conditioner, and there should be no obstacles between the remote control and the receiver.
- Protect the room from direct exposure to the sun by partially closing curtains and/or blinds to make the appliance much more economical to run.
- Make sure there are no heat sources in the room.
Cool mode
Ideal for hot muggy weather when you need to cooling and dehumidify the room.
To set this mode correctly:
- Press the“ ”button a number of times until the “Cool” symbol light appears.
- Select the target temperature18℃-32℃(64℉-90℉) by pressing the “△”or “▽” button until the corresponding value is displayed.
- Select the required fan speed by pressing the “ ” button. Different fan speed have different function.
High speed display “F2”, low speed display “F1”.
- F2 High To achieved the temperature as fast as possible.
- F1 Low Run of the low noise.
The most suitable temperature for the room during the summer varies from 24℃ to 27℃. You are recommended, however, not to set a temperature much below the outdoor temperature. This will cause unnecessary power consumption.
Fan mode
When using the appliance in this mode, the air hose does not need to be
attached.
To set this mode correctly:
- Press the “ ” button a number of times until the “Fan” symbol appears.
- Select the required fan speed by pressing the “ ”button.
- Two speeds are available: High/Low
Dry mode
- This mode is ideal for reducing room humidity in spring, autumn or rainy days. Before using the dry mode, the appliance should be prepared in the same way as for cool mode, with the air exhaust hose attached to enable the moisture to be discharged outside.
- To set this mode correctly, press the button a number of times until the dry indicator lights up, the screen displays .
- In this mode, fan speed is selected automatically by the appliance.
Setting the timer
The appliance can be programmed to be switched on or off automatically (up to
24 hours).
To set a start up timer
- Turn on the air conditioner, choose the mode you desire, for example cooling, 24°C and high fan speed. Turn off the appliance.
- Press the button. The screen will display 1-24 hours.
- Press the button repeatedly to adjust the time. After that, wait about 5 seconds, the timer will be activated. The timer indicator is lit up.
- To cancel the start-up timer, press the button. The timer indicator is turned off.
To set a shut down timer
- When the appliance is running, press the button. The screen will display 1-24 hours.
- Press the button repeatedly until the desired time is displayed. Then wait about 5 seconds, the timer will be activated, and the timer indicator lights up.
- To cancel the shut down timer, press the button. The timer indicator will light off.
Switch the temperature unit
Hold down and buttons for 3 seconds. The temperature will be switched between
Celsius and Fahrenheit system.
USB charging
- You can use the USB charging port on the air conditioner to charge your mobile phone or other devices. To enable or disable the USB charging function, press and hold the for about 10 seconds. When this feature is activated, the air conditioner will beep once. When this feature is deactivated, the air conditioner will beep twice.
- To enable or disable the USB charging function only be in standby mode,
Swing function
This air conditioner hasn’t auto swing function. Adjust the horizon or
vertical deflectors manually to suitable position.
Sleep function
When in sleep mode, the air conditioner maintains the room at optimum
temperature without excessive fluctuations in either temperature or humidity
with silent operation. Fan speed is always at low, while room temperature and
humidity vary gradually to ensure the most comfortable level.
- Make sure the air conditioner is in cool mode (refer to “Cool mode” section). Then press the button on the remote control to activate sleep function.
- Sleep function is not available in fan and dry mode.
- When sleep function is activated, the screen brightness is reduced and the low fan speed is selected automatically.
- When the sleep function is activated, the set temperature (in cool mode) automatically increases by 1°C (1°F) per hour within the initial 2 hours, then the temperature remains unchanged. Sleep function runs for 8 hours, then switches off automatically.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Attention!
Before cleaning, disconnect the power plug from the power outlet. Do not use
any corrosive detergent, wire brush, abrasive cleaner, sharp object or metal
to clean the appliance.
Water drainage
When there is excess water condensation inside the appliance, the appliance stops running and displays “ ” (FULL TANK as mentioned in Self-diagnose section), this indicates that the water condensation needs to be drained from the product. This can be done manually (whenever the water tray is full) or on a continuous basis.
- Unplug the appliance from the power source.
- Place a pan (not supplied) under the lower drain plug or carefully move the appliance to a drain location.
- Remove the lower drain plug from the back of the appliance. Water will be drained out and collected in the pan.
- After the water is drained, replace the lower drain plug firmly.
Continuous water drainage via a drain hose:
- Unplug the appliance from the power source.
- Remove the drain plug. While doing this, some residual water may spill, thus have a pan (not supplied) to collect the water.
- Attach the drain hose to the hole. Place the open end of the hose directly over a suitable water drainage area. The water can be continuously drained through the hose.
Notes:
- Make sure the hose is securely connected so there are no leaks. Direct the hose toward the drain.
- Make sure that there are no kinks in the hose that will stop the water flowing.
- When the continuous drain hose is not used: Drain plug needs to be firmly installed to prevent leakage.
- Please be sure that the hose should not be bent and higher than the drain outlet, or the water tank may not be drained.
Middle drainage
When the appliance is running in dry mode, follow below instructions to drainage.
- Unplug the appliance from the power source.
- Remove the drain plug. While doing this, some residual water may spill, thus please have a pan to collect the water.
- Connect the drain hose.
- The water can be continuously drained through the hose into a floor drain.
Note:
- Please be sure that the hose should not be bent and higher than the drain outlet, or the water tank may not be drained.
Clean the cabinet
- Clean the cabinet with a slightly damp cloth and then dry with a dry cloth.
- Never wash the appliance with water. It could be dangerous.
- Never use petrol, alcohol or solvents to clean the appliance.
- Never spray insecticide liquids or similar.
Clean the air filter
- Clean the air filter(s) every week for optimal performance.
- Remove the filter(s).
- Open the grid of appliance, then take out the air filter from the back of grid. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust accumulations from the filter. If it is very dirty, immerse in warm water and rinse a number of times. The water should never be hotter than 40°C (104°F). After washing, leave the filter to dry then attach the intake grille to the appliance.
- Reinsert the clean, dry filter(s) before storing.
Caution!
Do not operate the appliance without filter because dirt and lint will clog it
and reduce performance.
Maintenance
- In households with animals: You will have to periodically wipe down the grille to prevent blocked airflow due to animal hair.
- Clean the appliance using a lightly damp, lint-free cloth and mild detergent. Dry the appliance with a dry, lint-free cloth.
- Run the appliance on FAN mode for 12 hours in a warm room to dry it and to prevent mould (every 6 months or before storing the appliance).
- Before each season, check and make sure the power cable and plug are undamaged and the earth system is efficient.
- After each season, empty the internal circuit completely of water. Remove the drain plug, run off all water left into a basin. When all water has been drained, replace the drain plug in place.
TROUBLESHOOTING
SELF-DIAGNOSIS
The appliance has a self-diagnosis system to identify a number of
malfunctions.

in the housing at the back of the appliance.
The technical specification of the appliance is not adequate for the room in
which it is located.| Buy a new appliance adequate for your room.

GUARANTEES
Guarantees and limitations of liability
Products are guaranteed for a period of 36 months from the date of purchase,
or from the date of delivery to the customer’s home. Depending on the country,
this guarantee consists of 24 to 36 months of validity for the legal
compliance guarantee.
For countries that only implement a 24-month legal compliance guarantee, a
12-month commercial guarantee is applied at the end of the first guarantee,
and supplements it.

For the commercial guarantee
Please go to the reception desk at your place of purchase with your proof of purchase (e.g. sales receipt), the product and the accessories it came with, and its original packaging, for all countries other than France. It is important to have the date of purchase, the model and the serial number or IMEI number to hand (this information is usually indicated on the product, packaging, or on your proof of purchase). You’ll need to bring back the product with the accessories needed for its correct functioning (power supply, adapter, etc.). If your claim is covered by the guarantee, the after-sales service may, within the limits of local law, either:- Repair or replace faulty parts.
- Exchange the returned product with a product that has, at the least, the same features and that offers equivalent performances.
- Refund the product at the price stated on the proof of purchase.
Repaired or replaced products may include new and/or reconditioned hardware and components.
Commercial guarantee exclusions:
- Damages or problems caused by improper use, accident, tampering/modification or an unsuitable current or voltage connection.
- Use or storage conditions which are detrimental to the good conservation of the appliance (oxidation, corrosion), use of energy, use or installation non-compliant with the manufacturer’s instructions, or negligence or use of peripherals, software or consumables which are unsuitable.
- Professional or collective, industrial or commercial use of the product.
- Products that have been modified, or which have damaged, altered, erased or oxidised guarantee seals or serial numbers.
- Replaceable batteries and accessories are guaranteed for 6 months.
- Battery failure, caused by overcharging or by failure to follow the safety instructions set out in the manual.
- Cosmetic damage, including scratches, bumps or vandalism.
- Damage caused by any servicing operations carried out by non-authorised persons.
- Faults caused by normal wear and tear or the normal ageing of the product: seals, filters, accessories, vacuum cleaner brush and hose, lamps, overhead projector lamps, washing machine paddles, etc.
- Software updates as a consequence of changes to network settings.
- Damage caused by elements external to the appliance (foreign bodies, insects, etc.).
- The contents of the devices – freezer, washing machine, etc. (food, clothing, etc.)
- Product failure caused by the use of third-party software to modify, change, adapt or alter the product as is.
- Product failure resulting from its use without the accessories supplied with the product or approved by the Manufacturer.
- Parts for normal wear and tear or damage from use: tyre, inner tube, brake, etc.
The customer is responsible for regularly backing up the data contained on
their hard disk or in the internal memory of their device, and this before any
claim is submitted.
Auchan cannot be held liable for the loss or destruction of stored data, nor
may it be held liable for damage caused to software resulting from, in
particular, a restoration or a breakdown.
Similarly, Auchan is not required to check that SIM/SD cards have been removed
from returned products.
Under no circumstances shall the provisions set out above reduce or eliminate:
the legal guarantee referred to above, and the manufacturer’s commercial
guarantee, if applicable (see guarantee form).
