PRODUCT INFORMATION

The SunPower panels are to be handled with utmost care to ensure the safety of both the user and the product. Below are the handling guidelines for different types of Maxeon and Performance line residential and commercial panels:

Maxeon Line: Residential

  • Maxeon 3 104C-RES : 26 panels per pallet; pallet dimension: 174x109x122 cm; weight: 538 kg
  • Maxeon 3 112C-RES : 26 panels per pallet; pallet dimension: 185x109x125 cm; weight: 580 kg
  • Maxeon 6-AC 66C-RES : 25 panels per pallet; pallet dimension: 192x108x127 cm; weight: 612 kg
  • Packaging Method: Horizontal Sunny side up Plastic corner
  • Loading Method for Full Truck: Euro trailer
  • Unloading Method: Double stack with air bags. Last pallet single. Forklift or tail lift allowed if no double stack. Unloading the pallet from the top of the truck with a crane is forbidden (for safety reasons). Unloading manually the panel from the truck is not appropriate (for safety reasons).
  • Ground Jack/Method: Forklift with standard forks regardless of pallet side. Check beforehand the load capacity of the equipment able to carry the pallets weight properly blocked and secured with air bags and loading bars to avoid abrupt movements.

  • Maxeon 3 104C-COM : 26 panels per pallet; pallet dimension: 174x109x122 cm; weight: 538 kg
  • Maxeon 5 72C-COM : 25 panels per pallet; pallet dimension: 203x105x120 cm; weight: 590 kg
  • Maxeon 6 72C-COM : 29 panels per pallet; pallet dimension: 209x108x123 cm; weight: 691 kg
  • E/X-series 128C-COM : 40 panels per pallet; pallet dimension: 212x113x200cm; weight: 965 kg
  • Packaging Method: Horizontal Sunny side up Plastic corner or stacking pins
  • Loading Method for Full Truck: Euro trailer
  • Unloading Method: Double stack with air bags. Last pallet single. With forklift or tail lift allowed if no double stack. With forklift, tail lift forbidden. Unloading the pallet from the top of the truck with a crane is forbidden (for safety reasons). Unloading manually the panel from the truck is not appropriate (for safety reasons).
  • Ground Jack/Method: Forklift with standard forks regardless of pallet side. Long forks recommended if lifted through the short side. Check beforehand the load capacity of the equipment able to carry the pallets weight properly blocked and secured with air bags and loading bars to avoid abrupt movements.

Performance Line: Residential

  • P3 RES 370-390W : 30 panels per pallet; pallet dimension: 176x113x129 cm; weight: 675kg
  • P3 RES-AC 370-390W : 30 panels per pallet; pallet dimension: 176x113x129 cm; weight: 724kg
  • P6 RES 375-415W : 30 panels per pallet; pallet dimension: 187x115x126 cm; weight: 762kg
  • P6 RES-AC 375-410W : 30 panels per pallet; pallet dimension: 185x113x122 cm; weight: 788kg
  • Packaging Method: Vertical corner sleeves
  • Loading Method for Full Truck: Euro trailer
  • Unloading Method: With forklift or tail lift. Unloading the pallet from the top of the truck with a crane is forbidden (for safety reasons). Unloading manually the panel from the truck is not appropriate (for safety reasons).
  • Ground Jack/Method: Forklift with standard forks regardless of pallet side. Check beforehand the load capacity of the equipment able to carry the pallets weight properly blocked and secured with air bags and loading bars to avoid abrupt movements.

  • For outdoor or indoor use: choose the appropriate handling machine depending on the site situation, the ground condition, the type of truck
  • Handle with high care
  • Double stacking during transportation can be done for same pallet type only if the pallets are properly blocked and secured with air bags and loading bars to avoid abrupt movements.

  • Double stacking during transportation can be done for same pallet type only if the pallets are properly blocked and secured with air bags and loading bars to avoid abrupt movements.

  • For outdoor or indoor use: choose the appropriate handling machine depending on the site situation, the ground condition, the type of truck
  • Handle the pallet and the modules with high care
  • Unpack with care: do not cut the horizontal straps before ensuring there are at least 2 people for the operation.
  • Horizontal repacking should be done with panels stacked sunny side down on a wooden pallet with adequate dimensions (for transport, it is recommended to stack no more than 11 modules for P3 RES-DC, P3 RES-AC and P6 RES-AC ; no more than 21 modules for P6 RES.
  • Warning: for P3 RES-AC and P6 RES-AC, the micro inverter is higher than the frame height ; handle with high care; horizontal repacking should use 7mm spacers (for P3 RES -AC) or 15mm spacers (for P6 RES-AC) between modules stacked sunny side down.
  • Double stacking during transportation can be done for same pallet type only if the pallets are properly secured with loading bars to avoid abrupt movements (air bags are mandatory for P3 pallets).

  • Double stacking during transportation can be done for same pallet type only if the pallets are properly secured with loading bars to avoid abrupt movements (air bags are mandatory for P3 pallets)

Delivery checks to be done by the consignee

Please do not sign the delivery note before prior checks to the pallet. Especially, look out for:

In case of visible damage, write detailed remarks on the delivery note and take photos including of the original packaging (in the truck if possible and/or while unpacking the pallet) Without these supporting items in case of module damage, your claim will not be valid. In case of hidden damage, the claim cannot be charged to the carrier after 7 working days from the delivery date.
