DR6018 Product Information
The DR6018 is a product manufactured by Wallystech. It is a device used for wireless communication and can be configured using the IPQ60xx UI and UART settings. It supports 4 modes: Access Point, Access Point with Wireless Distribution System, Client, and Client with Wireless Distribution System. It also features wireless security encryption settings.
IPQ60xx UI Setting
To configure the IPQ60xx UI, follow these steps:
- Input the IP 192.168.1.1 in a web browser and log in with the username “admin” and password “password”.
- Click on “Wireless Setting” to configure signal chain power setting, ESSID, mode, and wireless security encryption.
- Select advanced settings to choose chain and bandwidth.
- Click on “Save & Apply” to save changes and wait for 2 minutes before enjoying the configured settings.
Backup Archive
To create a backup archive, follow these steps:
- Login to the system and go to “System > Backup/Flash Firmware”.
- Click on “Generate Archive” to create a backup archive and download it.
Update New Image
To update a new image, follow these steps:
- Login to the system and go to “System > Backup/Flash Firmware”.
- Click on “Choose Your Image” to select the new image.
- Click on “Flash Image” to update the image and wait for about 3 minutes without powering off.
- Login again to enjoy the updated image.
DR6010 V04 UART Configuration
To configure DR6010 V04 UART, follow these steps:
- Connect the cable to the DR6018 V4 as per the sequence of the signal in the UART connector: GND, TX, RX, VCC using GND to connect black cable, TX to connect white cable, RX to connect green cable, and VCC not to be used.
- Check the COM number on the PC by connecting the console board to the PC with a USB connector. The COM number on the test PC is usually Com15.
- Login with software such as Putty or Xshell.
IPQ60xx 5G Card Setting
To configure IPQ60xx 5G Card setting, follow these steps:
- Place the Quectel 5G module and SIM card correctly on the board.
- Connect the board by UART localhost and login with root and password asdf1234.
- Check whether the 5G module is detected by printing the command “ifconfig -a”. If usb0 is visible, it indicates that the new 5G/LTE module is detected.
- Check whether the SIM card can work.

IPQ60xx UI setting
- input the IP：192.168.1.1 and log in；
- Input the username： admin；password： password，then press the button “Login”
- network setting
- IP Setting: setting IP in the path “network->Interfaces->LAN->IPV4 address”
- DHCP setting: DHCP and other protocol setting in the path
- network->Interfaces->LAN->protocol”
- wireless setting
- login the path network->Interfaces->WIFI, then choose one wifi,we select the red marked as example,click the button ‘Edit’
- The detail information show in the picture as below: Channel:for channel select; Transmit Power:signal chain power setting; ESSID:for ID
- Mode:it support 4 mode AP,AP(WDS),client,client(WDS) Wireless Security:for Encryption setting
- IN Advance setting you can select which chain do you need,which BW do you need and so on
- In the end ,you need click the button “Save & Apply”, and wait for 2 minutes, then you can enjoy it.
- Backup archive
- Login System->Backup/Flash Firmware; Then click the button”Generate archive”; Then download the archive
- update new imag
- Login System->Backup/Flash Firmware;
- Then click the button “浏览”，choose your image,
- Then click the button “flash image”
- Then click the button “Proceed”，warning don’t power off，wait for about three minutes， then the system will reboot automatic.then login again,you can enjoy it.
DR6010 V04 UART configuration

That is to show how to use the UART for DR6018 V4
Device connect
- Step 1:connect the cable to the DR6018 V4
- As the picture above, the sequence of the signal in the UART connector: GND, TX, RX, VCC,
- And we need to use GND to connect to black cable, TX to connect to white cable, RX connects to Green cable， and VCC doesn’t use it.
- Step 2:Check the Com number on the PC
- Connect the console board to the PC with a USB connector,
- Then check the com number on the PC, the com number on the test pc is Com15
- Step 3 login with the software
You can use putty, Xshell or some others, enjoy it
IPQ60xx 5G card setting
- Place the Quest 5G module and SIM card correctly in the board as below picture.
- Connect the board by UART localhost and login : root , Password: asdf1234
- check whether find the 5G module Print the command: if config -a if we can see usb0 which indicates that the new 5G/LTE module is detected.
- Check whether the SIM card can work.
- Print the command: quectel-CM, if it shows as below and we also can see that SIMstatus: SIM-Ready,it is ok.
