Dear Customers,
Instruction manuals provide valuable hints for using your new device. They
enable you to use all functions, and they help you avoid misunderstandings and
prevent damage. Please take the time to read this manual carefully and keep it
for future reference.
If you pass the device on to third parties, enclose these
instructions.
SAFETY NOTES
To avoid malfunctions, damage and health impairments, please observe the following information. Please also note the enclosed general safety instructions for compressed air tools.
- Please read this manual carefully and use the device only according to this manual.
- Dispose of used packaging material carefully or store it out of the reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation!
- Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to use the device, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a qualified person.
- This device is not a toy. Do not let children play with the device.
- Keep your hands away from the tool head. There is a risk of injury if the trigger is accidentally actuated.
- Wear protective goggles and hearing protection when using the device!
- Do not point the device at people or animals.
- Use metal and voltage detection devices to locate concealed power, water and gas lines. Do not touch any live components or conductors.
- Make sure there is sufficient lighting in the work area
- If possible, use clamping devices or a vice to securely fasten the workpiece.
- Disconnect the device from the air supply before removing jammed clips or reloading clip strips.
- Check all screws, nuts and other fastening elements for tightness at regular intervals and tighten them if necessary.
- Should the unit become damaged do not use it any further and have it repaired by a professional or contact our customer service. Do not disassemble the unit or try repairing it yourself.

Operation
Adjusting the impact force
The impact force is set with the adjusting wheel (2). When viewed from the
rear, turn the wheel clockwise to increase the impact force and
counterclockwise to decrease the impact force. Also note the symbols. See also
Fig. A1 and A2.
Loading the Magazine
Press the release switch (3) and pull the magazine housing down and out. Place
the strip of nails or staples on or over the magazine rib as shown in the
picture.
Then slide the magazine housing back on. If necessary, press the strip of
nails or staples against the magazine rib.
Setting Nails and Staples
Connect the device to a 4 – 7 bar compressed air supply. If possible, use a
maintenance unit that removes the water from the compressed air and adds an
oil mist. See picture (C). Place the device on the tool at the desired
location and press it against the surface. The safety slide (4) must be fully
pressed in. Then press the trigger (1) to drive the nail or staple.
You can regulate the direction of the exhaust air by turning the blower (5).
Removing Jammed Clamps
Disconnect the device from the air supply. Fold the locking lever (6) up and
open the tool head. Remove the jammed staple or nail. See also Fig. B1 and B2.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Clean the device with a slightly dampened cloth. If necessary, use a little washing-up liquid as well. Do not immerse the device in liquids.
- To avoid damaging the surfaces, do not use any harsh chemicals or abrasives.
- Oil the moving parts from time to time with a suitable machine oil. Do not use too much oil so that the workpiece is not contaminated by sprayed oil.
