Please read this manual carefully and use the device only according to this manual.

Dispose of used packaging material carefully or store it out of the reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation!

Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to use the device, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a qualified person.

This appliance is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children. Never leave the unit unsupervised when in use. Keep it out of reach of children or persons in need of supervision. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

The device is not intended for continuous professional operation. The device is intended to be used in closed rooms only and in similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments. The use in any other way is not considered as intended use.

Should the device become damaged, do not use it any further and have it repaired by a professional. Do not disassemble the device and do not try to repair it yourself. In case of questions or problems contact our customer service department.

Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the appliance. Use the electric kettle only as described in this manual and only for boiling water.

Never immerse the kettle and the base in water or any other liquids.

Please switch off the appliance and unplug from the power supply before cleaning or when not in use.

Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it. Do not allow the power cord to ride over sharp edges or corners or close to hot surfaces.

Always place the device on an even surface during use. Do not place the device in the sink or on inclined surfaces.

Do not use the appliance outdoors, or near gas flames, oven plates or other heated elements.

Use the electric kettle only with the included base and use the base only with this kettle.

Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table or countertop.

Do not overfill the device. Note the “MAX” mark indicator, situated on the water kettle. Please note that boiling water can splash out if the water kettle will be overfilled. There is a risk of burns!

Attention! Always place the water kettle on a level surface. Be careful when pouring hot water. There is a risk of burns!

To avoid the appliance from switching off due to overheating, always fill the water container with at least 500 ml of water.

Skin contact with boiling water can result in severe burns. Please take extreme care when pouring off boiling water. High temperature steam may escape from around the lid during heating process. Do not touch any hot parts of the appliance while it is in operation.
Operation
Before first Use
Remove the electric kettle from the packaging and check it for any damage in transit. Dispose of any non-reusable packaging material properly or store it in a safe location out of reach of children.
Setup and Operation of the Kettle

Place the base securely on a flat and horizontal surface. Connect the base to properly installed protective contact socket.

Open the lid by pressing the release button (1). Fill the kettle with water. Be careful not to overfill the kettle. Only fill up to the MAX mark on the water level indicator.

Place the kettle on the base and close the lid.

To boil the water, press the power button (3). The kettle turns on and brings the water to a boil. The heating of the water is indicated by the colour
changes on page 3. If you want to heat the water to one of the preselectable temperatures 40 °, 70 °, 80 ° or 90 °, press the ± button (2) until the LED above the desired temperature lights up. The heating of the water is indicated by a colour change in the illumination. Make sure the lid stays closed during use.
Before using it for the first time, boil the kettle twice with fresh water. Use only clear water without additives.
The appliance switches off automatically after the cooking process. If you would like to end the cooking process early, press the power button (3) or simply remove the kettle from the base. Watch out for hot water! There is a risk of scalding! -
Always unplug the kettle if you are not going to use the kettle for a long period of time, if you want to clean it, move it, or if any faults occur.
Decalcifying

The intervals, in which the unit must be decalcified, depend on how often the unit is used.

Decalcify the unit every 3 – 4 months. Do not use vinegar for decalcifying,
but use a common lime-acid based decalcifying agent. Follow the instructions on the package of the decalcifying agent. -
For thoroughly cleaning the kettle, use a bottle brush and clean the interior of the kettle in order to avoid calcification.
Cleaning and Storing
- Always unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
- Wipe the housing with a lightly moistened cloth. Use detergent as needed.
- Do not wash the device in a dishwasher and do not immerse it in water or any other liquids.
- Dry the base and the electric kettle well before storing.
- Do not clean the appliance with aggressive chemicals or abrasives in order not to damage the surface.
- Store the electric kettle indoors in a dry place that is protected from dust, dirt and extreme temperatures.
- Store the electric kettle out of reach of children.
