Upper and lower heat with circulating air
For baking and roasting on an insertion level, where heating is provided
evenly from above and below. It is particularly suitable for baking cake,
cheesecake and biscuit cake, for preparing casseroles, roasts, game and fi sh
as well as for all classic recipes.
A switched-on fan distributes the heat evenly in the oven chamber.
Upper heat with circulating air
For preparing of casseroles and gratins, which should have a crispy surface.
For grilling barbecue foods (e.g. steaks, sausages, roll roast, chicken, etc.)
as well as for grilling. A switched-on fan distributes the heat evenly in the
oven chamber. When grilling, we recommend fi lling half of the
roasting/baking tray with water and sliding it into the lowest insertion level
as a drip tray. Dripping grease is absorbed, the appliance remains clean and
the rising steam will make your barbecue food especially tender and juicy.
Upper/lower heat
For baking and roasting on an insertion level, where heating is provided
evenly from above and below. It is particularly suitable for baking cake,
cheesecake and biscuit cake, for preparing casseroles, roasts, game and fi sh
as well as for all classic recipes.
Upper heat with rotisserie function
This function is suitable for grilling meat, fi sh, vegetables as well as
rotisserie grilling of chicken, spit roast, etc .; Proceed as described under
point „Grilling with rotisserie function „described.
Important! Slide the roasting/baking tray into the lowest insertion level as a
drip tray.
Dripping grease is absorbed and the appliance remains clean. We also recommend
filling half of the roasting/baking tray with water; the rising steam will
make your barbecue food especially tender and juicy.
Lower heat with circulating air (pizza function)
This function is particularly suitable for anything that should be crispy from
the bottom, such as pizza, tarte fl ambé, French fries etc. We recommend using
the function “upper and lower heat” (with or without circulating air) fi rst
and switch to this function for the last 5 minutes. A switched-on fan
distributes the heat evenly in the oven chamber.
e. Taking out the cooked food
- Open the oven door (do not use the open door as storage place!).
- Take the ready food out of the oven chamber. If you want to take the roasting/baking tray, the grill grid or the rotisserie spit out of the oven in hot condition, use the included handle or protect your hands with potholders or a grill glove. Close the oven door.
NOTE for using the grill grid: The special shape of the insertion levels in the front area prevents the grid from being pulled too far out of the appliance by mistake.
Remove the grill grid as described above. Overcome the „removal lock“ by slightly lifting or angling and remove the grill grid.
Completely switching off the appliance

Temperature pilot lamp for oven
The appliance is equipped with a temperature pilot lamp (B) for the oven. When
the pilot lamp goes off, the set temperature is reached. Cycling on and off
during operation, the pilot lamp shows the thermostatic regulation of the
temperature.
ATTENTION: This means that the pilot lamp does not glow for some time,
although the oven is switched on. Therefore, make sure that all the knobs
have been set back to “0” once the baking procedure is finished.
Grilling with rotisserie function
The rotisserie spit allows preparing delicious grilled chicken and other kinds of spit-roast (e. g. pork knuckles). For this, proceed as follows:
-
It is important to defrost frozen chicken completely before grilling. Then wash and pat them dry.
-
Depending on the recipe and your personal taste, rub the food to be grilled with oil and spices.
Tip: Always mix paprika and curry with some oil or season the meat at the end of the grilling time, as these spices burn easily and taste bitter then. -
Slide one of the fixing brackets on the spit and tighten it with the screw. Now skewer the prepared meat onto the spit centrally until it is pushed firmly into the first fixing bracket. Then slide the second fixing bracket on the spit and push it firmly into the roast. Also, tighten this screw.
-
Check that the food to be grilled is properly centred on the spit.
-
To prevent protruding chicken parts from burning, the joints and wings must be bond together with a heatproof and food safe string (e. g. natural cotton string).
Tip: To avoid a too fast browning of prominent parts, you may wrap delicate areas with unsalted rashers. -
Important! Insert the roasting/baking tray into the lowest level. In this way, any grease dripping down will be collected and the oven’s bottom stays clean.
Tip: We recommend filling half of the roasting/baking tray with water; the rising steam makes your grill food especially tender. However, should you prefer your chicken crispy outside, do not fill any water into the roasting/baking tray. -
By means of the rotisserie handle, you can now lift the rotisserie assembly into the oven. Firstly, insert the spit with one end in the hole on the right hand side of the interior oven and then place it in the support provided on the left hand side.
-
Before closing the oven door, make sure the spit with the chicken/s is positioned correctly.
Caution! Hazard of fire! Make sure that the meat to be grilled is rotating properly and that it does not touch the heating elements – otherwise the meat might catch fire. -
Select the function: ‘Upper heat with rotisserie spit’ (position “I”) at maximum temperature.
-
Per each kilogram chicken, you may reckon with a grilling time of about 60 minutes.
Tip: A spit-roast chicken is ready when piercing the drumstick with a needle (no knife!) only clear meat juice comes out, without any signs of blood. -
In case the skin of the chicken is getting blisters, reduce the temperature and paint the blisters with some oil.
-
After the grilling time has been finished, it is easy to remove the rotisserie spit from the oven by lifting it out using the special handle for the spit and to place it on a large chopping board then.
Interior illumination of the oven
This product contains a light source of energy efficency class G. The lamp glows during the whole operation time of the oven. Once the operating time is over, the lamp turns out automatically.
How to change the oven light
| • ATTENTION: Always unplug the power cord before changing the lamp!
• ATTENTION: Before changing the lamp, always allow the appliance to cool
down!
---|---
- Carefully unscrew the lamp cover, unscrew the defective illuminant.
- Insert a new bulb (heat resistant – 220-240 V ~ 25 W, E14, T 300 ° C) into the thread and screw it in by hand.
- Then insert the lamp cover into the thread and screw in hand-tight.
Disassembling and assembling the oven door
The oven door is designed in such a way that, under normal conditions of use, there is no impurity between the glass plates of the double glazing. The oven door should only be disassembled and cleaned if heavily soiled. Proceed as follows:
Disassembling of the oven door
| • ATTENTION: Always unplug the power cord before assembling the oven door!
• ATTENTIOPN: The appliance may be operated only with completely assembled
door!
---|---
-
Dry the glass plates and seal thoroughly before installation!
-
Place the glass plate on a soft surface. Make sure, that the larger side of the two plastic hulls is up.
-
Position the gasket properly around the glass. Make sure the fl at and narrow side of the gasket is up.
-
Place the glass plate with gasket on the oven door.
Make sure that the larger side of the two plastic hulls is up. The glass plate has to be fl ush over the two screw fi xings. -
Check the gasket all around for correct seating and readjust if necessary.
-
Insert the two screws and hand-tighten clockwise.
-
Close the oven door.
Cleaning and maintenance
- Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance and let all parts cool down!
- Never immerse appliance, power cord and plug in water or clean them under running water!
- Due to its non-stick coating the oven is very easy to clean. Wipe the casing, the oven chamber and the oven door with a moist cloth and wipe dry.
- The crumb tray can be taken out and cleaned with hot dishwater.
- The accessories can be cleaned in warm water with some dishwashing detergent or in the dishwasher.
- Always keep heating plates dry since dampness and steam will result in rust formation. Special care products are available in specialist shops.
- Make sure no steam or water can infi ltrate the underside.
- Do not use abrasives or dissolvents or sharp objects!
- Do not use steel wool or scouring pads!
- Never use oven sprays!
- Never use a steam jet appliance for cleaning the appliance and the accessories!
Tips and notes
- Always pre-heat the oven until the desired temperature has been reached before you put in the food to be cooked and place the food in the middle of the roasting/baking tray.
- The best cooking results are achieved if you turn the roasting/baking tray after about half of the cooking time, so that the food from the rear gets shifted to the front.
